the evergreen Mazda 3 gets enhancements to extend the current life cycle.

  • Enhanced Mazda3 ‘Venture’ and ‘Sport Nav’ models priced from £17,495 (OTR)
  • New 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and unique Zeal Red Mica paint finish
  • TomTom navigation, integrated Bluetooth®, climate control air-conditioning as standard
  • Zero deposit with 0% APR Representative finance and monthly payments from £274

From 1 April Mazda is enhancing three of its family-friendly Mazda3 models, at no extra cost to the customer.  Two Venture models, with 1.6-litre petrol or diesel engines, and the 2.2-litre diesel Sport Nav derivative, offer customers significantly added value this spring.

The enhanced Mazda3 trio now has additional equipment such as 17-inch Bright finish alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, Black Mica door mirror housings and new sporty black cloth seat trim with red stitching plus the availability of a new exterior colour, Zeal Red Mica (a £495 option), and seven other colours.

Prices for the enhanced Mazda3 models, which already enjoy an unusually generous standard specification, are unchanged – starting at £17,495 on-the-road (OTR) for the 105ps 1.6-litre Venture petrol model and rising to £18,995 for the 115ps 1.6-litre Venture diesel and to £20,995 for the 185ps 2.2-litre Sport Nav diesel.

“Mazda3 was already a great car and the changes to the three enhanced models bring extra style.  With extra equipment, zero deposit and 0% APR finance, these Mazda3 models will have added appeal to consumers visiting our dealers’ showrooms this spring,”comments Peter Allibon, Sales Director, Mazda UK.

“Made exclusively in Japan, the Mazda3 five-door hatchback was Mazda’s best-selling model worldwide in 2012 and the second-best selling model in the UK, after the compact Mazda2.  The Mazda3 1.6-litre diesel has been hugely popular and the 2.2-litre diesel with 185ps delivers an amazing combination of high performance and low fuel consumption.  It is still one of the highest power C-segment diesel models of any brand available in Britain,” adds Allibon.

In addition to the latest upgrades, the standard specification for the Mazda3 Venture model includes: sports styling, rear spoiler, front fog lamps, privacy glass and a rear bumper sports trim.  Inside, there’s a leather steering wheel with audio controls, CD radio with Auxiliary jack and six speakers, plus TomTom satellite navigation with a 5.8-inch touch screen, integrated Bluetooth® hands-free kit, climate control air-conditioning, electric front and rear windows, automatic lights and wipers, cruise control and heated front sports seats to create a genuine premium car ambience.

As well as its high-performance powertrain, the Mazda3 2.2-litre diesel Sport Nav model has an even more distinctive appearance thanks to its new LED rear lights and added practicality with a heated front windscreen.  With a six-speed manual transmission as standard, this Mazda3 reaches 62mph in just 8.2 seconds, has a top speed of 132mph, records fuel consumption of 52.3mpg (combined cycle) and has a CO2 emissions rating of 142g/km.

Until the end of June 2013, Mazda is offering a great combination of deals on its upgraded Mazda3 models.  Customers can choose 0% APR* finance with zero deposit and low-cost monthly payments from just £274 (Venture) and from £323 (Sport Nav).

Customers buying their new car with a Mazda PCP will also be offered a generous deposit contribution of £1,000 and a loyalty saving, if they already own a Mazda, of £300 with no part-exchange required.
