Vauxhall's Zafira wins again.

Vauxhall has won the Best Full-Size People Carrier trophy at the Fleet News Awards for its seven-seater Zafira Tourer MPV.

The award was judged by a panel made up of fleet industry experts as well as senior members of the Fleet News editorial team, chaired by former SMMT chief executive Christopher MacGowan and audited by Deloitte.

“Vauxhall invented the compact seven-seat MPV and the Zafira Tourer takes it back to the top,” said Stephen Briers, Fleet News’s Editor-in-chief. “Spacious with lots of storage and innovative, clever seating, the modern look inside and out combines with practicality, competitive pricing, low CO2 and impressive running costs. The Tech Line trim is the icing on the cake – it’s the perfect people carrier for fleets and their company car drivers.”

“We’re absolutely delighted to be recognised at the Fleet News Awards,” said James Taylor, Vauxhall’s Fleet Sales Director.  “The Zafira Tourer is a full-size and exceptionally well-equipped seven-seater and we’re very proud it’s been honoured as the best MPV in its class.”

Vauxhall champions a number of initiatives aimed at fleet customers including a three-day test drive scheme, an industry-leading 100,000 mile lifetime warranty programme and its high spec, low P11D Tech Line trim available on Mokka, Meriva, Astra, Insignia and Zafira Tourer.

This is in addition to ecoFLEX, the best-selling and broadest range of eco-friendly vehicles on sale and a slew of new product launches including the Mokka small SUV, the funky A-sector ADAM and the full-size Cascada convertible.
