Citroen Ireland welcomes new C3

The new CITROËN C3, which strengthens and enhances the qualities of its predecessor, is now available in Ireland with up to 300km more range per tank of fuel and, for a limited time, the addition of 3 years' free servicing.

Launching just in time for the new July '132' registration, the new CITROËN C3 will extend the success of the brand's leading model, which has sold 3 million units worldwide since 2002.

The new CITROËN C3 PureTech VTi 68 petrol engine boasts class leading economy with official fuel consumption of 4.3 l/100km; representing a 37% improvement in efficiency, and delivering up to 300km more per tank compared to the previous petrol engine.

The exterior of the new CITROËN C3 features a restyled front end and a new 'face' with updated chevrons and bumper-mounted LED daytime running lights. Expressive new tail lights at the rear combine with new reflectors set underneath the rear bumper for fresh, contemporary look.

The new CITROËN C3 is one of the most compact vehicles in its segment. At 3.94m long and 1.71m wide, with a 10.8m turning circle, it is perfect for in-town driving. The compact exterior hides a spacious, practical interior and a 300-litre boot, which is among the largest in the category.

The new CITROËN C3 also benefits from all of the brand's expertise in terms of comfort. All occupants experience real well-being through a compliant ride and a cabin that is well insulated against external noise and vibration.

The new CITROËN C3 is even available with an integrated air freshener for that extra touch of serenity onboard.

The new CITROËN C3 is powered by a new generation of PureTech petrol engines, with 3 cylinders and a 1.0 or 1.2-litre capacity. These new powerplants are economical on fuel and CO2 emissions, but are exceptionally rewarding to drive. The range offers a choice between the VTi 68 and VTi 82 PureTech engines, with both achieving remarkably low fuel consumption, between 4.3 and 4.5 l/100km, and CO2 emissions between 99 and 107 g/km.

The new CITROËN C3 is also available with a choice of diesel powertrains, including the HDi 70 manual or the e-HDi 70 EGS - which comes complete with the latest micro-hybrid technology and the most efficient Stop & Start system on the market. The new CITROËN C3 has some of the lowest fuel consumption and CO2 emissions in its category, at as low as 87g/km.
