The New Generation Hyundai i10 goes on sale today with prices starting from £8,345 OTR. A range of competitive monthly Personal Contract Plan (PCP) offers* will be available.

The New Generation i10 has been praised for its exemplary levels of refinement, driving characteristics, safety and value and has already received awards from Top Gear magazine, Carbuyer and What Car?.

As standard, the entry-level S Trim (starting at £8,345 OTR) gets Daytime Running Lights, central locking, electric front windows, USB with AUX connection and a host of safety equipment including Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), six airbags, Tyre Pressure Monitoring and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM).

Moving up to the mid-range SE trim, buyers get electric rear windows, body coloured door handles, electric and heated door mirrors, air conditioning and driver’s seat height adjustment as standard. Prices for these models start at £9,295 OTR.

For those customers wanting all the technology and comfort features on the New Generation i10, the range-topping Premium – like the S and SE Trims –represents fantastic value. Available from each of Hyundai’s 154 dealers nationwide, the Premium trim adds LED Daytime Running Lights, integrated door mirror indicators, steering wheel controls, Bluetooth with voice recognition, leather steering wheel and gear knob and 14-inch alloy wheels over the SE models. Prices begin at £9,995 OTR for the Premium trim derivatives.

To ensure all associated costs are transparent and manageable for customers, the New Generation i10 is also available with a Fixed Price Service Plan for a one-off payment of £349.

In terms of residual values, the New Generation i10 retains, on average, 50% of its value over 3yrs/30,000 miles according to RV specialists CAP, while insurance group ratings have also improved versus the outgoing model from Group 12 to between 1A and 4A.

Tony Whitehorn, President and CEO, Hyundai Motor UK, says: “True value is at the heart of all our products and this is reflected in the attractive PCP offers for our latest and most popular product, the i10. With the New Generation i10, equipment and safety levels are on a par with cars from the segment above. However, with Hyundai’s new PCP deals, improvements in residual values and insurance group ratings plus the availability of fixed-price servicing packages, the New Generation i10 is one of the most cost-effective and satisfying cars to own and run.”

Vehicle valuation and motoring cost experts, CAP Automotive, recently revealed the total cost of ownership for the What Car? Awards Roll of Honour. The New Generation i10 was judged to be the most cost-effective car to live with –costing just 29 pence per mile.

CAP takes into consideration depreciation, fuel consumption, service and maintenance and road tax to discover how buyers would fare financially over a three-year ownership period.
