USA - Now Jaguar Land Rover has some recalls to add to the ever growing list.

Jaguar Land Rover is issuing two recalls. The first affects the 2013-2014 Jaguar XJ, XF, and XK models, while the second involves a few 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque models. Issue: On affected Jaguar XJ, XF, and XK models, components used to control the rear wheels can separate, causing a possible loss of stability and directional control.

Without full control, the driver is at increased risk of getting into an accident. The 2014 Range Rover Evoque recall affects models manufactured between the narrow window of November 27 and December 4 2013, and involves faulty bolts on the right hand rear suspension that may have been damaged during production. Similarly, faulty bolts on the Evoque models could result in a loss of control, increasing the probability of an accident. Fix: Jaguar and Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the affected vehicles and make corrections as needed, free of charge.

The Jaguar recall is expected to begin May 27, 2014, while the Evoque recall will also begin in May, but at an unspecified date. Jaguar owners may call 1-855-524-8278 and reference recall number J037. Evoque owners use Land Rover recall number P040.

Additionally, owners can get more information from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or at www.safercar.gov.
