For Gods Sake, when will these recalls end - Now AUDI recalls 850,000 cars

As each and every day passes, the recalls get more and more, and the size of those recalls grows too, so here we are today, now with AUDI, the German brand renown for quality, reliability and a great brand awareness, issues its own recall, and not just a few hundred, AUDI is recalling 850,000 A4 models from the 2012 facelift onwards.
Due to an issue in the programming of the airbag being faulty, this could cause the airbag not to deploy when it is required most, there has been very few incidents, but enough for there to be a full recall, the affected vehicles will be returned to the factory for there to be a thorough investigation, However, AUDI has not commented on whether the the faults present can lead to any injuries.

Recall affects 150,000 cars in Germany
The software glitch had been noticed during internal investigations during computer simulations, and, according to AUDI, all vehicles produced from Mid October 2014 are rectified, and will not be subject to any form of recall, the models that are affected are the 2012 facelift models encompassing Saloon (sedan), Estate (Avant) and the Allroad models, all owners will be contacted via their countries vehicle recall depts, NHTSA in the USA, VOSA in the UK, KBA in Germany and so on.
The repair, well, not really a repair, its just a few minutes on software updates, and thats it, should take a very short time to do, and will cost teh owners nothing to have done, but this is just a tiny drop in the ocean of recalls for this year, GM has issued recalls the world over amounting to millions of cars, as has Ford, Chrysler, Opel Mercedes, BMW and many many more.
