FORD #2 - Vignale range to show the future of Posh Fords.

  • Ford unveils at the Paris Motor Show the first design elements for Vignale Lounge – a welcoming, contemporary environment to complement the Vignale model range
  • The Vignale Lounge takes design cues from the new range of vehicles that Ford will launch next year starting with the new Ford Mondeo Vignale, and later the Ford S-MAX Vignale
  • Developed by the Ford team that designed the new Vignale line-up, the lounge will offer a quiet and luxurious environment – supported throughout by a dedicated relationship manager, digital tools to enhance the shopping experience, and bespoke services
  • Furnished with leather, rich fabrics, and a coffee table with built-in LCD screens, the Vignale Lounge will be an integral part of the new flagship FordStores opening across Europe
  • Ford will also present at Paris the 2015 Vignale Collection featuring specially designed accessories including an iPhone sleeve and award-winning travel bag
Ford Motor Company will reveal at the Paris Motor Show the first design elements for the Vignale Lounge, a welcoming, contemporary environment that will complement perfectly the forthcoming Vignale model range.
Integrated within the new FordStores rolling out across Europe, the Vignale Lounge has been developed by the same Ford team that designed the new Ford Mondeo Vignale. The lounges will support the launch of Ford’s new upscale Vignale range, which begins next year with the Ford Mondeo Vignale and soon after the Ford S-MAX Vignale.
The Vignale Lounge reflects themes from the forthcoming Vignale range through the use of soft-touch leather, rich fabrics, colours, and fine detailing. Each lounge will offer an inviting sales environment, supported throughout by a dedicated relationship manager and tailored services, such as a complimentary monthly car wash available at the FordStore for the duration the original customer’s ownership.

“The Vignale Lounge ensures that from the moment a Vignale customer first steps into the dealership they are immersed in a world that complements perfectly our new Vignale model range,” said Roelant de Waard, vice president, Marketing, Sales & Service, Ford of Europe. “Like the forthcoming Mondeo Vignale and S-MAX Vignale models, the Vignale Lounge will offer a quiet and luxurious environment, furnished with high quality materials.”
“Supported by digital tools to make the shopping experience easier and the personal Vignale relationship manager, the Vignale Lounge will provide an easy one-stop shop for all the Vignale customer's needs,” de Waard added.
FordStores, mostly located in metropolitan areas, will present the full range of Ford products and services. The Vignale Lounge will provide a quiet and inviting contemporary space where customers will be able to sample exclusive materials and colours; discuss orders and Vignale-specific information; and discover new Ford technologies and vehicle features.
The lounges also will feature an interactive coffee table with built-in LCD screens where customers can browse a portfolio of luxury accessories inspired by the Vignale range – the Vignale Collection.
Among bespoke services available to customers who have bought a new Ford Vignale from the Ford Lounge will be free collection and delivery for vehicle servicing – from a home address or office location – alongside servicing scheduled to suit the owner*. Vignale customers will be able to make all arrangements, and make any Vignale-related enquiries via a single, free telephone number.
The Mondeo Vignale Concept saloon and estate will be on display at the Paris Motor Show, where Ford also is presenting for the first time the 2015 Vignale Collection, created by the Ford Design team behind the Vignale model range and Vignale Lounge.
The 2015 Vignale Collection, which takes design cues from the forthcoming Vignale range, includes the Vignale Weekender – a luxury overnight bag that this year was awarded a prestigious iF Design award – and reflects the distinctive Vignale trapezoidal shaped grille, quilted pattern of the handcrafted seats, and the contoured bonnet.
The collection also includes a shoulder handbag, handmade from exclusive fine, specified leather; a purse, money clip, iPhone sleeve, and business card sleeve; and a handmade silk scarf and silk tie crafted by artisans in Milan, Italy. All feature the exclusive Vignale tones Milano Grigio and Nocciola. Elements of the Vignale Collection will be available to view and buy in a dedicated online shop.
“The Vignale Collection encapsulates our passion for design that sets us apart from other brands while echoing Ford’s unique design DNA,” said Erika Tsubaki, creator of the Vignale Collection and design supervisor, Ford of Europe. “The latest Vignale Collection features distinctive design elements of the Vignale models, paying special attention to the high quality leather material and detailing that makes them as beautiful as the models they reflect.”
The Ford Vignale Lounge at the Paris Motor Show, hosted by a Vignale relationship manager, will offer an insight into the forthcoming Vignale experience.
