- Best all-time sales month for CUV/SUV Segment
August proved to be another strong month for the CUV/SUV and mid-size sedan segments, allowing Hyundai Motor America to post its best August ever, with 72,012 units sold, up three percent compared to August 2014.

“As the 2016 Santa Fe, Santa Fe Sport and all-new Tucson began hitting showroom floors, strong sales continued for CUV/SUV models in the Hyundai lineup,” said Dave Zuchowski, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor America.
“The Tucson, our compact CUV, saw sales gains of 25.5 percent and the Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport experienced gains of 30 percent and 18 percent, respectively.
