  • Renault sponsors Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest
  • Urban obstacle course race series powered by Kadjar crossover
  • Partnership sees Renault presence at all events across the UK
Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest – the world’s biggest urban obstacle course race – will be powered by the All-New Renault Kadjar crossover.
The French carmaker has partnered with the hugely popular but ultra-challenging series with a strong presence at the events in Cardiff, Nottingham and Edinburgh earlier this autumn and will broaden that presence for Men’s Health’s two biggest events in Manchester on 7th November and London on 21stNovember with teams from the Group Renault UK head office taking part.

The partnership is the perfect fit for the agile and adventure-ready Kadjar – a vehicle ideally suited to the needs of even the most demanding and active lifestyles.
Competitors must demonstrate all-round ability, as they’ll have to tackle at least 50+ energy-sapping and fear-inducing obstacles – everything from crawling through thick mud to terrifying plunges into ice cold water – over 5k or 10k routes or the ultimate Super Survival Half Marathon.
Colette Casey, Brand Communications Manager, Renault UK said: “We’ve been really excited by this new partnership with one of the fastest growing and most exciting race challenges in the UK. The first events have been really exciting and have shown just how challenging the course is.
“The All-New Renault Kadjar, our latest crossover vehicle, has been designed to cope with the demands of the most challenging lifestyles and to meet the needs of even the most active families so it’s the perfect fit for Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest.”
Alun Williams, Group Publishing Director at Men’s Health magazine, said: “We’ve always prided ourselves that Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest is top of its class in terms of urban adventure races in the UK, so it is a natural fit for us to team up with the Renault Kadjar as our headline sponsor.  With the first few events being really successful, we are looking forward to working further with the Renault team to take our events to the next level, and to showcase the features of the car through bespoke obstacle challenges around our courses.”
Just launched in the UK, the Kadjar further strengthens Renault’s presence in the popular crossover market, building on the huge success of its smaller sibling, Captur.
A spacious five-door crossover, Kadjar comes with a choice of two diesel and one petrol, efficient yet powerful, engines, manual or EDC automatic transmissions, two- or four-wheel drive and four trim levels.
Priced from £17,995 RRP, Kadjar offers exceptional running costs with best-in-class residual values, CO2emissions as low as 99g/km and combined cycle fuel economy of 74.3mpg.
