USA SALES OCTOBER - JLR - Land Rover continues to prop up Jaguar, as they await new products.

  • Jaguar Land Rover U.S. October sales increase 76 percent with 8,187 units sold; making it the Best Jaguar Land Rover October Sales Month Ever
  • Land Rover up 98 percent for the best Land Rover October sales month ever driven by Range Rover and Range Rover Sport and celebrates a Record Breaking Land Rover Sales Month
  • Jaguar F-TYPE has its best October sales month ever with sales up 17 percent for the month
Jaguar Land Rover North America today reported October 2015 U.S. sales. Sales for both brands hit 8,187 units, a 76 percent increase from 4,650 units in October 2014.  Land Rover sales reached 7,199 units up 98 percent from 3,643 units in October 2014; Jaguar sales were 998 units, down 2 percent from 1,007 units in October 2014.
Year to date in 2015, Jaguar Land Rover U.S. sales hit 67,806 units, an increase of 23 percent over 2014.

"The Jaguar Land Rover business continues to set the pace for the luxury automotive industry with record-breaking sales growth led by the Range Rover nameplates and the Jaguar F-TYPE, which had its best October sales month ever," said Joe Eberhardt, President and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover North America.
U.S. BRAND HIGHLIGHTS
Land Rover
Land Rover had a record breaking sales month with 7,199 total units sold this month.
Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Evoque had their best sales month ever with Range Rover sales hitting 1,803 units, up 46 percent; Range Rover Sport sales hitting 1,906 units, up 77 percent and Range Rover Evoque sales hitting 1,265 units, up 28 percent.
Sales of the Discovery Sport hit 1,356 units for the month and LR 4 had its best sales month since December 2010.
Year to date in 2015, Land Rover is at an all-time U.S. high of 55,602 sales, up 32 percent from 2014.
Land Rover's 2015 model year line-up features five models: The 240-hp turbocharged 2.0 liter Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque; the LR4 powered by a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 engine; the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover, available with either a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 or 510-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 powertrain.
For 16 MY, Land Rover will add two special editions to the Range Rover Sport line up, the Range rover Sport HST, available in either a 3.0L Supercharged V6 380hp engine or a 5.0L Supercharged V8 510hp engine with added SVR aero package and the 550-hp Range Rover Sport SVR.
September marked the start of sales in North America for the 2016 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport featuring a new 3.0L turbocharged V6 diesel engine.
Jaguar
For Jaguar, sales hit 998 units, down 2 percent for the month. The volume and growth leader in October was the Jaguar F-TYPE, which had its best October retail sales month ever, and was up 17 percent with 400 units sold vs. 342 in October 2014. Sales of the Jaguar XJ hit 305 units, up 49 percent from 205 in October 2014.
Year to date in 2015, Jaguar sales hit 12,204 units, down 5 percent from 2014.
The 2015 Jaguar line-up features four models: The Jaguar XJ luxury sedan, powered by a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 in rear-wheel or all-wheel-drive configuration, a 470-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 or a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the XJR model. The Jaguar XF sports sedan comes in a number of variations: 240-hp turbocharged four cylinder engine, a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 in rear-wheel or all-wheel-drive configurations, a 470-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8, a 510-hp Supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the XFR and a 550-hp Supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the XFR-S. In its final year, the XK coupe and convertible grand touring models are powered by either a 385-hp 5.0 liter V8 or a 510-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the XKR. Jaguar also offers the Jaguar XKR-S coupe and convertible with a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8. 
The 16 MY Jaguar F-TYPE is newly available with options of all-wheel drive and a manual transmission. The new F-TYPE line-up, the F-TYPE Coupe and Convertible, are powered by either a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6, a 380-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 in the F-TYPE S or a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the F-TYPE R.
Starting with the new 2016 model year vehicles, the Jaguar brand will have an improved competitive value position via steps such as increased standard equipment or new lower MSRP choices by model. Also starting in model year 2016, all Jaguar models will come standard with Jaguar EliteCare, an ownership package with class-leading five-years or 60,000-mile warranty, complimentary scheduled maintenance coverage, roadside assistance and Jaguar InControl® Protect & RemoteTM2. Beginning in the spring of 2016, the Jaguar brand value story further transforms with two new entry luxury vehicles, the 2017 Jaguar XE compact luxury sedan, starting at $34,9001,  and the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE compact luxury SUV, starting at $40,9901.
