UK SALES 2015 - Isuzu continue to grow in the UK with the popular D-Max range of pick ups.

  • Strong D-Max sales contribute to amazing 478% sales boost since 2009
  • D-Max heads sales charts in December
  • Centenary plans to be outlined for 2016 as Isuzu readies model range revisions
Isuzu UK continues to break its sales records, with 6220 vehicle registrations in 2015 - up 13% compared to the previous year. This record performance represents the sixth year of sales growth and the third consecutive annual sales record for the brand in the UK, marking a 478% improvement over the 1076 vehicles registered in 2009.

This dramatic and sustained rise in deliveries can be attributed to the appeal of the multi-award winning D-Max pick-up, launched in the summer of 2012 and now available in six trim levels.

Following its ongoing successes, Isuzu UK will be celebrating the brand’s centenary in 2016. Isuzu will mark 100 years since the company was founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1916 with a range of activities and models over the course of the year.

William Brown, General Manager at Isuzu UK, commented: “As Isuzu enters its hundredth year, we are delighted to see the brand go from strength to strength with annual UK sales records following one after the other.

We have exciting plans for its centenary year – including model range updates. We’re sure that these will provide further reasons for even more new customers to be attracted to the Isuzu brand and the proven, multi-award winning D-Max pick-up.”

The Isuzu D-Max is available in three body styles – single, extended and double cab – with prices starting from £14,999 (CVOTR) for the entry-level single cab 4x2 rising to £25,999 (CVOTR) for the range-topping Isuzu Blade.

The Isuzu D-Max is fitted with a super-efficient 2.5-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, producing 163 PS and 400 Nm of torque, is able to tow a class-leading 3.5-tonnes (braked) while unladen can return 38.7 mpg (combined), and is available with a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission.

Every new D-Max sold in the UK is backed by the company’s pioneering, five-year / 125,000-mile warranty.
