Mercedes-Benz Cars is presenting its Dream Car Collection at the 86th Geneva International Motor Show.

Mercedes-Benz Cars is presenting its Dream Car Collection at the 86th Geneva Motor Show and starting the 2016 open-air season by unveiling new roadster and cabriolet models. One highlight is the world premiere of the new C-Class Cabriolet.
With its classic soft top it is an attractive entry-level model in the range of Mercedes dream cars, with all-season open-air driving enjoyment included as standard. Further harbingers of spring include the new SL and the SLC, both celebrating their European premieres, as well as the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Cabriolet Edition 130 to commemorate the invention of the automobile 130 years ago.

And the smart fortwo cabrio has now become even more exclusive: in the shape of the new limited-edition smart fortwo cabrio BRABUS edition, which is likewise celebrating its world premiere in Geneva. The new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Coupé is the latest sporty model to join the C-Class family. Also being exhibited for the first time in Europe is the new E-Class.
The tenth generation sets standards in terms of design, safety, efficiency and automotive intelligence. The V-Class range is introducing the EXCLUSIVE line, which enables the MPV to impress with a particularly high level of equipment.
Mercedes-Benz will be presenting all the information and images relating to the Geneva Motor Show (public days: 3 to 13 March) to the media representatives via the continuouslydupdatedwwebsite www.mercedes-benz.com/geneva from 29 February.
The "Mercedes-Benz Media Night" on Monday, 29 February from 7.30 p.m. and the press conference on Tuesday, 1 March from 8.15 a.m. will be broadcast on the internet via live stream (www.daimler.gomexlive.com).
Show stand in "Silver Flow" ambience
Visitors will experience the "Mercedes-Benz Dream Car Collection" in a fascinating "Silver Flow" ambience: a dynamically shaped, free-floating, large-scale sculpture consisting of silver slats creates the perfect setting for the new Mercedes models.
The technically sculptural Silver Flow appears to float weightlessly above the large show stand covering 3120 square metres and combines with the central media space to form the stage area for the presentation of the numerous premieres. Mercedes-Benz is exhibiting a total of 37 vehicles on the public days.
Innovation topics are presented opposite the main stage with interactive stations at the centre of the show stand. The "E-Mobility" area presents an impressive range of electric vehicles including the plug-in hybrid models of the E-Class, the GLE and the GLC as well as the purely electric B-Class, while the highlight of the Mercedes-Benz hybrid initiative is a reigning world champion: the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 W06 Hybrid racing car.
The dynamic shape of the Silver Flow guides visitors behind the main stage to Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes me – the new service brand from Mercedes-Benz. In a separate area, visitors to the show can find out about the wide-ranging and customisable Mercedes me options – from networking one's own Mercedes-Benz with a smartphone to innovative mobility solutions to inspiring lifestyle, financing and service offers.
The Mercedes-Benz Silver Flow show concept celebrated its premiere at the 2014 Mondial de l’Automobile in Paris and was also a defining element in the Festival Hall at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in 2015. Through the flexibility of the slat structure the brand image can be adapted to the individual trade fairs with a high recognition effect.
Celebration time: tenth anniversary of the Mercedes-Benz Museum
From the café on Level 1, customers can enjoy a fascinating view across the entire show stand thanks to the open design. Friends and fans of the brand are also invited to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Mercedes-Benz Museum in the café. Opened in 2006, the Museum recounts the history of the automobile from the very beginning as well as looking ahead to its future. It has welcomed more than 7.1 million visitors through its doors over the last ten years.
