Roland Krueger, president of Infiniti, visited the Infiniti Middle East offices, one of the brands biggest growth area's.

  • Middle East region a cornerstone for Infiniti's growth and development
  • Record breaking January results for Infiniti in the Middle East
Earlier this month, Roland Krueger, president of Infiniti Motor Company, Ltd., visited the Infiniti Middle East offices and met with the regional teams covering all areas of business operations for the year ahead.
The President's visit comes at a time of strong growth for Infiniti in the Middle East. As one of the region's fastest growing premium brands, Infiniti recently announced its excellent 2015 results where it delivered over 8,300 vehicles across the Middle East at a growth rate of 18 percent.

"The Middle East is a vital part of Infiniti's growth plans," said Krueger. "With continued strong double digit growth figures, its importance to Infiniti from a global perspective is apparent. Infiniti has a range of new product and powertrain developments for the year ahead that is certain to further the excellent performance of the brand in this region."
The brand's strong sales performance has continued into 2016 with Infiniti registering excellent January results accounting for an increase of 3 percent, with 731 vehicles delivered to customers in the Middle East. The performance rewrote the record books as the best ever January for the Infiniti brand in the Middle East.
Krueger also visited Arabian Automobiles, the authorized distributor for Infiniti in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. The President expressed his gratitude for the continued support of the Infiniti brand, and the importance of Arabian Automobiles, as well as Infiniti's extensive dealer network in the region as a cornerstone for the ongoing successes of Infiniti.
"It is an honor to host Mr. Krueger at our Arabian Automobiles IREDI center in Dubai," said Michel Ayat, Chief Executive Officer of Abdul Wahid Al Rostamani Automotive Group. "His visit is a testament to the importance of the UAE as well as the wider Middle East region and the strategic role it plays in contributing to the growth of the Infiniti brand."
Additionally, Krueger – as well as senior leadership from Infiniti Middle East and Arabian Automobiles – were presented with the EVO Middle East Magazine's "Small Car of the Year" award for the Infiniti Q30 (known as the QX30 in the U.S.). The Q30, which had its global launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show and regional premiere at the Dubai International Motor Show last year, represents Infiniti's first global entry into the fast-growing premium compact segment. The vehicle is set to arrive in the Middle East in the second half of 2016.
On a global level, Infiniti continues to enjoy similar successes. The premium brand broke the sales records in 2015 once again with 215,250 vehicles, up 16 percent from the previous year. This was also the first time the premium marque broke the 200,000 mark.
