USA SALES APRIL - Porsche has ring-fenced it's self from parent company VW and see's sales creep ahead.

  • U.S. Porsche dealers sell 5,410 vehicles in April
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor in the United States of Porsche 911, Boxster, and Cayman sports cars, Macan and Cayenne SUVs, and the Panamera four-door sports sedan line-up, today announced April 2016 sales of 5,410 vehicles, up 3.7 percent compared to April 2015.

"We are celebrating the strongest sales month in PCNA history – outpacing the previous record set in April last year. The interest in and demand for Porsche models continues to grow," commented Klaus Zellmer, President and Chief Executive Officer of PCNA.
The record sales were strongly supported by the Macan model line with 1,877 vehicle deliveries, up 22.1 percent compared to April 2015. The 911 model range experienced growth of 14 percent over the same month last year with 1,023 vehicles sold in April. Cayman models continue to experience high demand with 449 vehicle deliveries, up 53.8 percent over April 2015.
Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales in the U.S. were 1,499 for April 2016, the second best retail month in the history of the program, which is an increase of 24 percent compared to the same period last year.
