The Classic & Sports Car Show is proud to announce details of some of the industry’s finest classic car dealers who will be displaying an incredible array of historic cars at Alexandra Palace this autumn.
Joining a host of themed features and a classic car auction from Coys, Alexandra Palace will play host to industry-leading classic car dealers including DD Classics, Desmond J Smail, Arthur Bechtel Classic Motors, Classicmobilia, Stanley Mann Racing, Classic Chrome, Classic Motor Cars, Epping Motor Company, Oselli, Gallery Aaldering and Vintage & Prestige.

Collectively, these dealers will wow crowds with everything from the rarest Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche models to the finest Jaguars, Mercedes-Benz, pre-war (and post-war) Rolls Royce and Bentley and even modern day classics. And there are many more to follow; these are just a selection of dealers who have already signed up to The Classic & Sports Car Show.
Daniel Donovan, owner and founder of DD Classics, has been selling classic cars since the late 1960s. Over the years, he has developed incredible international connections and established many classic car businesses in the London area – and beyond. DD Classics operates from a stunning showroom in Kew, South-West London, and sells a wide range of the finest classics, from marques including Bentley, Ferrari, Maserati and Rolls Royce. And its second flagship showroom in Brentford, West London, offers one of the largest displays of classic, prestige and performance cars in the United Kingdom. “We’re delighted to be returning to The Classic & Sports Car Show this autumn,” said Donovan. “The venue of Alexandra Palace proved to be a majestic backdrop last year and the show was full of enthusiasts. We’re looking forward to welcoming people to our stand again this October.”
Desmond J Smail is one of the world’s leading Aston Martin experts, specialising in the sales, restoration and servicing of the famous British marque, boasting 300 years of experience thanks to its highly knowledgeable team across locations in Buckinghamshire and Kensington. “We are delighted to be exhibiting again at The Classic & Sports Car Show,” said Desmond J Smail. “It offered a perfect setting and environment to showcase our cars which led to a successful show for us for sales, service and restoration. We’re very much looking forward to the show this October.”
Based in South West London, Classic Chrome has been established since 1989 and offers a fine mix of British, Italian and German classics, and even classics of tomorrow. “It was fantastic to be a part of the first Classic & Sports Car Show at Alexandra Palace in 2015,” said Garry Short, Managing Director, Classic Chrome Ltd. “We loved the venue and were especially pleased with our stand in the Great Hall and the number of visitors to the show. We’re really excited to be exhibiting again in 2016 and to be part of the show's growth and continued success.”
The Classic & Sports Car Show is delighted to welcome Arthur Bechtel Classic Motors to Alexandra Palace for the first time. Based near Stuttgart, Germany, the company always has an inventory of around 50 high-grade classic cars focused on Mercedes-Benz of the pre- and post-war area. Founded in 1972, it supports collectors in providing a complete service – from sourcing cars, restoring, to maintenance, storage and logistics, and it does this for an international customer base. “We are very delighted to be a part of The Classic and Sports Car Show 2016 in London by presenting our cars and services to an exclusive audience,” said Arthur Bechtel, founder and owner of Arthur Bechtel Classic Motors.
Another much-anticipated newcomer to the show is Stanley Mann Racing. Stanley Mann is a name synonymous with vintage Bentleys. For over 45 years Stanley drove, raced, restored, bought and sold these iconic machines. One of those fortunate people whose hobby became a passion and whose passion became a career. Stanley Mann Racing, with Stanley at the helm until his death in February 2016, has handled the sale of over 900 vintage Bentley Motor cars from its home, the Fruit Farm in Radlett, and continues with the same enthusiasm from the same small team catering for every aspect of vintage Bentley ownership.

Karen Mann, Stanley Mann Racing, said: “We came to visit the inaugural Classic & Sports Car Show last year and were impressed by the setting, features and large number of visitors to the show. We felt it was something we needed to be a part of and are delighted to be exhibiting at the Alexandra Palace event this October.”

With Classic Motor Cars set to bring an exquisite selection of the finest classic Jaguars, Epping Motor Company bringing a fine mix of modern classics and classic cars and Vintage & Prestige set to wow with pre-war (and post-war) Rolls-Royce and Bentley, visitors to The Classic & Sports Car Show are in for a treat.
The show will also feature an auction from Coys and a Live Interview Stage in partnership with Goodwood, while the top ten finalists from the show’s Century of Supercars global poll will be gathered together in a multi-million pound centerpiece, with the winner – the Greatest Supercar Ever – announced at the event. To vote, simply go to the show’s all-new website www.classicandsportscarshow.com/supercars and pick your favourite from each group between now and 31st August.
The show’s new website also features a range of ticket packages, from general access to a limited number of premium tickets offering everything from fine dining to guided tours of the event.
James Elliott, group editor, Classic & Sports Car magazine added: “It gives me great pleasure to announce that, once again, we will have some incredible stands at Alexandra Palace from industry-leading dealers including DD Classics, Desmond J Smail, Classic Chrome, Classic Motor Cars, Epping Motor Company, Gallery Aaldering and Vintage & Prestige. I’m really pleased to welcome Arthur Bechtel Classic Cars from Germany and Stanley Mann Racing and I’m looking forward to announcing even more dealers over the coming weeks, not to mention further details of our star centerpieces and themed displays. Visitors are in for another fantastic weekend this autumn.”
