USA SALES JULY - The Swedish car company celebrates 13 months of continued growth, thanks to new models.

  • Volvo Posts Thirteen Months of Consecutive Double Digit Sales Growth
Volvo Car USA, LLC, (VCUSA) reported U.S. sales of 8,584 vehicles, a 52.8 percent increase versus July 2015 and marking the thirteenth consecutive month the company posted double digit sales growth. Year-to-date sales are up 29.3 percent year-over-year.
Sales for the month of July were led by the award-winning XC90 luxury SUV with 2,888 vehicles sold. The XC60 crossover followed directly behind with 2,097 vehicles sold.

“July proved to be another exciting month for Volvo in the US,” said Lex Kerssemakers, President and CEO, Volvo Car USA. “Not only did we see strong sales on XC90, but we also saw that momentum carry through to our other carlines, signaling great success for the brand.”
Volvo is implementing a sweeping $11 billion transformation plan that has involved the development of its own modular vehicle architecture, a new engine range, global manufacturing capability, a completely renewed product range and world leading developments in safety, autonomous driving and connectivity.
