General Motors and its joint ventures delivered a November record 371,740 vehicles in China, up 7 percent from a year earlier. The Cadillac, Buick and Baojun brands reached all-time monthly highs.
With demand remaining particularly strong for small and midsize passenger cars, SUVs and luxury vehicles, GM’s retail sales in the first 11 months of 2016 grew 8.5 percent on an annual basis to 3,435,788 units – a new high for the period.
“With less than a month to go, we are on track for record sales in 2016,” said GM Executive Vice President and GM China President Matt Tsien.

“All recently launched products, such as the new-generation Buick GL8 and Baojun 310, have gotten off to a very good start of deliveries.”

The new generation of the GL8 family, which includes the first Buick model from the Avenir sub-brand, was introduced last month to build on the success of its predecessors and set a new benchmark for large luxury MPVs.
