USA SALES NOVEMBER - The crossovers keep the sales flowing in the month, but YTD sales are right down.

  • Mazda CX-5 and CX-9 Post Best November Sales Since 2012
Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today reported November U.S. sales of 22,041 vehicles, representing a decrease of 3 percent versus last year.
Year-to-date sales through November are 269,019 vehicles. There were 25 selling days in November 2016, versus 23 the year prior.
With the new CX-5 being built locally now with it's new look, sales of this mid-sized Sports Utility Vehicle will move ahead, especially as the three crossovers are the only models within the range that have increased in sales.
Year to date for the brand is down a rather significant 7.2% or around 20,000 units, the MX-5 Miata, CX-3 and CX-5 are the only cars year to date that are up on the previous year, and with just one month left to the year, Mazda will remain below 2015.
Hopefully with the new MX-5 RF and CX-5 will boost sales in the early part of 2017, as there is nothing else new in the first quarter of the year.
