CANADA SALES SEPTEMBER - Land Rover continues it's growth spurt, whilst Jaguar stays flat for the month.

•Land Rover LR4 sales increase 103 per cent year-over-year

•Range Rover sales up 86 per cent year-over-year
•Range Rover Sport sales up 61 per cent year-over-year
•Jaguar XJ sales up 36 per cent year-over-year
Jaguar Land Rover Canada today reported September 2015 sales totalled 842 units, for a 44 per cent year-over-year increase and the best combined September ever.
"2015 is proving to be one of Jaguar Land Rover Canada's most successful years, consistently exceeding year over year sales," said Santino Pirillo, Director of Sales, Jaguar Land Rover Canada.  

"Jaguar XJ, Land Rover LR4, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models performed particularly well, with Land Rover having its third best sales month ever."

This month was the best September ever for Land Rover retail sales with a total of 709 units and a 58 per cent increase compared with the same period last year.  

Sales leaders for the month were the Range Rover Sport, with 227 sales - an increase of 61 per cent over the same period last year, followed by the Range Rover with 110 units sold and an 86 per cent year-over-year increase. 

The Discovery Sport also had its best sales month ever, with 152 units sold.
Land Rover's 2015 model year line-up features five new models: The 240-hp turbocharged 2.0 litre Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque; the LR4, powered by a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6 engine; the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover, available with either a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 or 510-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 powertrain and the 550-hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 Range Rover Sport SVR.
September marked the start of sales in North America for the 2016 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport 3.0L turbocharged V6 diesel engine. 

The 3.0 litre turbocharged V6 diesel engine delivers effortless performance thanks to its 254-hp engine and 440 lb-ft of low-end torque, maintaining the 7,716lb towing capacity of both vehicles while delivering exceptional fuel economy.  

The 16MY also sees the addition of a limited edition Range Rover Sport HST, available with a 3.0 litre supercharged V6 380hp engine, delivering an extra 40hp to enhance the Range Rover Sport performance line-up.
Jaguar
For the month of September, Jaguar sales reached 133 units, down one per cent from the same period last year.  The Jaguar XJ was the performer of the month with 60 sales and a 36 per cent increase year-over-year.
The 2015 model year Jaguar line-up features four models: The Jaguar XJ luxury sedan, powered by a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6 in all-wheel-drive, a 470-hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 or a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 in the XJR model. 

The Jaguar XF sports sedan powered by a 240-hp turbocharged four cylinder engine, a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6 in all-wheel-drive, a 510-hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 in the XFR, and a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 in the XFR-S. 
The F-TYPE Coupe is powered by a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6, a 380-hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6, or a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 in the F-TYPE R Coupe.  

The F-TYPE convertible is available with three engine variants: a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6, and a 380-hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6 or 495-hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 in the F-TYPE S convertible.
New for the 2016 model year F-TYPE convertible is available with 550-hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 in the F-TYPE V8 R.  With the 2016 model year Jaguar F-TYPE, Instinctive All Wheel Drive and manual transmission options are also available.
Earlier this year, Jaguar Land Rover introduced the second generation, new-from-the-ground-up 2016 model year Jaguar XF sedan.  Based on Jaguar's new aluminum-intensive architecture, the new XF will arrive in Canada in December 2015.  

Beginning in the spring of 2016, the Jaguar brand value story further transforms with two new entry luxury vehicles, the 2017 Jaguar XE compact luxury sedan, starting at $45,0001, and the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE compact luxury SUV, starting at $49,0001.
