Renault Kangoo can now be specified with Ready4Work racking and storage solutions.

  • Renault Kangoo can now be specified with Ready4Work racking and storage solutions
  • Customers can choose from two space-optimising Ready4Work kits
  • Ready4Work racking is fitted before delivery of the vehicle to the dealership
  • Innovative design ensures simple fitment with no impact on the Renault Kangoo’s structure
  • Available from £1,150 including VAT and can be included in the van’s finance package
  • Ready4Work systems covered by comprehensive four-year/100,000-mile warranty.
Renault has introduced Ready4Work racking for the Renault Kangoo, the high-quality racking and storage solution ensuring that customers can benefit from a van that is ready to go straight to work.
As with the official Ready4Work racking systems available for the Renault Trafic and larger Master, the Kangoo version is installed into a customer’s van before delivery and saves owners from the inconvenience of having to wait while their vehicle is fitted out.

Unveiled at the 2015 Commercial Vehicle Show and developed in partnership with vehicle storage specialist Bri-Stor, the Renault Kangoo Ready4Work mobile workshop racking systems are designed to cater for the in-van storage requirements of the vast majority of small businesses and trades.
Available for the Kangoo and 100 per cent electric Kangoo Z.E standard length panel vans, there are two versions of Ready4Work racking available. Kit 1 is designed to provide engineering tradesmen with an economical racking solution that offers storage for tools, parts and accessories together with the option to add additional features, while Kit 2 is designed to suit the more specialised tradesmen who require an enhanced racking solution for the storage of tools and service equipment.
Both kits are constructed from lightweight, high strength Dual Phase steel with a yield strength of 800N/mm2 and feature the same tool panel assemblies, which each include six Euro bins and 500mm Storage Basket. Kit 1 also includes a two-part phenolic coated floor (9mm plywood base with anti-slip phenolic coating to the top face) and a unit that has three sizeable tool baskets. In addition to the tool panel assemblies, Kit 2 adds a unit with shelves and anti-slip matting together with a drawer unit module, which are supported by two heavy duty end frames with punched infill panels.
Utilising pre-assembled sections that are fixed to the van’s existing load lashing points, the kits allow easy and quick installation with no requirement to drill into the Renault Kangoo’s structure, which works to prevent corrosion and maintain residual values.
Both Ready4Work racking kits are covered by the four-year/100,000 mile warranty that comes as standard with the Renault Kangoo and the rest of Renault’s best-selling LCV range.
As the storage systems are supplied with the Renault Kangoo, another significant benefit is that the cost can be incorporated in a single finance package arranged by any Renault dealership or the brand’s specialised Renault Pro+ dealer network that is solely focused on the needs of business customers.
Steve Wilson, LCV Product Manager, Groupe Renault UK, said: “Ready4Work racking adds to the versatility of the Renault Kangoo, while at the same time offering customers an efficient and cost-effective way to fit out the back of their van with a quality storage solution that meets their needs.
“By opting for either Ready4Work racking kit, Renault Kangoo customers aren’t losing revenue while their new vehicle is being prepared and they are also safe in the knowledge that the equipment they have invested in is covered by one of the most impressive warranties around.”
The Renault Kangoo Ready4Work racking is available to order now and costs from £1,150 including VAT.
In addition to the Kangoo, Kangoo Maxi and Kangoo Z.E, the Renault LCV range consists of the Trafic, as well as the larger Master. A comprehensive range of factory and approved LCV conversions are also available to order. The all-electric Twizy Cargo is also a part of the LCV line-up – a unique way of transporting smaller items around urban environments.
In the UK, all Renault LCVs are available with four years’/100,000 mile warranty and four years’ roadside assistance, providing the ultimate peace of mind. All Renault LCV vehicles also come with the reassurance of the Renault Business Quality Commitment – the manufacturer’s 13-point plan that guarantees customers will receive a class-leading service.
Designed to keep customers moving no matter what and deliver hassle-free business motoring, the plan covers everything from an impressive warranty and transparent pricing to the availability of courtesy vehicles and a dedicated customer hotline.
Renault has been Europe’s leading LCV manufacturer for 18 consecutive years, with sales in 2015 rising by 17 per cent compared to 2014 to 347,679 vehicles. In the UK, Renault had its best ever year for LCV sales in 2015 with 25,458 vehicles – up 40 per cent.  In the first quarter of 2016, Renault registered 6,618 light commercial vehicles – up 21 per cent on Q1 last year.

Vauxhall’s Brit-built Vivaro won the award for best medium panel van at this year’s Commercial Fleet Awards.

Vauxhall’s Brit-built Vivaro won the award for best medium panel van at this year’s Commercial Fleet Awards, held at The International Centre, Telford on Thursday.
Judges described it as “an excellent fleet package”. They commented: “Vauxhall took a risk when it completely re-engineered this van, but it has paid off with excellent build quality, a great driving experience, good fuel economy, improved payload and an impressive load length. It is also strong on safety technology and comes with a solid three-year/100,000-mile warranty.”

Hosted by television presenter Gaby Roslin, the award was presented to Richard Collier, Vauxhall’s National Commercial Vehicle and B2B Sales Manager, in front of over 400 industry figures, all recognising and celebrating the critical role the industry plays in keeping British business moving.
“We’re thrilled to see the Vauxhall Vivaro honoured, once again, for being the best in its class,” said Richard Collier. “Built at our Luton plant, its excellent practicality, efficiency and comfort makes it the perfect choice for commercial vehicle operators.”
The win is the second in recent months, with the Vivaro also taking Fleet Van of the Year at this year’s Motor Transport Awards. The medium-sized van is a popular choice for companies including BT Fleet, British Gas and Homeserve.
