Vauxhall’s all-new Astra has been recognised for its outstanding range of advanced technology features, picking up a handful of accolades at the Car Tech Awards. This latest victory confirms the all-new Astra’s position as one of the top new models on the market.
The Astra picked up three awards including the Tech Car of the Year, Best Self-Parking System and Best Safety Innovation for Vauxhall OnStar. All awards were in the under £25,000 class, where the Vauxhall Astra was also highly commended in the Best Sat-Nav category.
Carbuyer and Alphr, leading car review and technology websites, have joined forces to develop the Car Tech Awards, a celebration of the very best in-car technology on the market today. The awards focus on a car’s connectivity, driver assistance systems and safety innovations, as these features are now considered by many buyers to be ‘must-haves’ alongside traditional aspects such as reliability, and performance.
