USA SALES JUNE - NISSAN/ACURA - the brands saw a slight increase in sales for June.

Nissan Group today announced total U.S. sales for June 2017 of 143,328 units, an increase of 2 percent over the prior year and a June record. The nissan part of the company saw sales only just top the previous year with a minor 1% increment, however, the SUV's and crossovers saw a large jump in sales meaning that the sedan side of the brands dropped sales.

The Rogue saw sales grow by a healthy 17% but that was outperformed percentage wise by the Titan which saw the sales grow by 369% and Armada by 214%, the commercial arm also saw record sales for the month of June, and the worlds most popular hybrid, the LEAF was up by 37% to top 1,500 units.

On the Infiniti front, the new QX30 added a healthy number to the brands total, but the brands best model was the Q60 which saw a near 1000% increment in sales, making june a good month for the combined company.

Nissan highlights:

• Nissan Division finished June with 131,057 sales, up 1 percent.
• Overall sales of Nissan crossovers, trucks and SUVs set a June record, up 20 percent.
• Sales of the Rogue crossover set a June record with sales 34,349, up 17 percent.
• Nissan Titan sales increased 369 percent to 4,199.
• Nissan Armada sales climbed to 2,370, up 214 percent.
• Nissan's commercial vans, NV and NV200 each set June records.
• Nissan LEAF sales increased to 1,506, up 37 percent.
