Nissan today announced U.S. pricing for the all-new 2015 Nissan Murano, which made its production debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The new Murano is scheduled to arrive at Nissan dealers nationwide beginning on December 5, 2014.
While Murano has always stood out from ordinary crossovers with its refined yet daring and futuristic design, the new third-generation design kicks it up many notches with its concept car-like styling, premium interior and advanced, purposeful technology.
The 2015 Murano is offered in four trim levels – S, SV, SL and Platinum – and in a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The starting Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices* (MSRP) for the Murano S FWD is $29,560 USD, while the top-of-the-line Murano Platinum AWD is priced at $40,600 USD. Just three option packages are offered for the well-equipped Murano:
Navigation Package (S), Premium Package (SV) and Tech Package (SL, Premium).
Every 2015 Murano comes with a standard 3.5-liter DOHC V6 connected to an advanced Xtronic transmission.
Fuel economy has increased 20 percent combined city/highway mpg from the previous generation, thanks in part to reduced weight (approximately 145 pounds), low rolling resistance tires, air grille shutter, low 0.31 Cd, underbody covers that enhance underbody airflow and improvements to the Xtronic transmission.
