- All-New, Value-Packed Elantra Recognized by the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association at the 34th Annual Atlanta International Auto Show
The all-new 2017 Hyundai Elantra received the Biggest Bang for the Buck Award from the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association (GAAMA). Presented during GAAMA’s annual Auto Show Awards during the 34th Annual Atlanta International Auto Show, the Elantra received praise for its standard safety features, class-leading technologies and its incredible value proposition.
“The all-new 2017 Hyundai Elantra convinced the GAAMA Auto Show jurors as the most deserving vehicle for the Biggest Bang for the Buck Award for its overall value that includes segment-first features, class-leading safety technologies and improved efficiency,” said Eileen Falkenberg-Hull, GAAMA Jury Member and Automotive Minute columnist with The Business Journals. “The new Elantra is a major leap forward from its predecessor, yet is priced $100 less, helping Elantra come out on top.”
At the 34th annual Atlanta International Auto Show, members of GAAMA walked the floor of the Georgia World Congress Center to preview more than 400 new import and domestic cars, light trucks, vans, crossovers and sport utility vehicles on display. Judges chose winners for GAAMA's 2016 Auto Show Awards in seven categories.
“This recognition from GAAMA distinguishes the 2017 Elantra from the highly competitive compact sedan segment for its strong value proposition that includes all-new efficient powertrains for improved fuel economy, better ride quality and noise insulation and segment-first premium conveniences,” said Brandon Ramirez, senior group manager, product planning, Hyundai Motor America. “Hyundai continues to offer value-packed quality vehicles and this award is a testament we are delivering on that commitment.”
The 2017 Hyundai Elantra, now available in dealerships, sports a bold aerodynamic design with a comprehensive suite of safety features, modern interior styling with class-above features and user-friendly technologies. Starting at $17,150, the new Elantra is priced $100 less than the award-winning model it replaces.
