Purpose

I will try my best to provide detailed info on various cars and what is like to live with them, I have already produced a few for Jaguar-car-forums, I will do my best to be unbiased, but it will be hard for some cars. I will re-produce press releases and copy from other motoring news.

Want a new Suzuki Bike, then teh time is now.

Suzuki has announced an extension to the popular Me Me Me campaign, which offers the chance to cherry pick the best deal that suits your needs, from a deposit contribution to free accessories or help towards the cost of your insurance.
Launched in January, the offer gives an increased level of flexibility when it comes to buying a new Suzuki. Customers are able to choose from a £500 deposit contribution, £600 worth of free accessories, or £700 towards the cost of their insurance premium when insured through Suzuki Insurance Services.

Suzuki GB National Sales Manager Jonathan Martin announced the extension, saying, "This offer puts the focus on the customer and their needs when it comes to buying a new motorcycle, and as such we're delighted to be able to announce its extension. It offers customers real choice and makes buying a new Suzuki even more affordable. The deposit contribution ideally compliments the low-rate finance available, meaning low monthly payments are available across the range. Customers can also choose to personalise their machine to suit their needs with Genuine Suzuki accessories, or benefit from that added piece of mind with Suzuki Insurance Services."

10 models from Suzuki's extensive on-road range are included in the promotion, including the GSX-R1000, 750 and 600, Hayabusa, GSR750/A, V-Strom 650 ABS, GSX1250FA, both the Burgman 400 and 650 Executive, and the Intruder C1500T cruiser.

Suzuki launches new packs to aid touring.

Suzuki has announced four Genuine accessory packs for the new V-Strom 1000, with each pack representing a significant saving on the cost of individual items included. The cost of each pack also includes dealer fitment, too.

Included in all four accessory packs are hand guards, lower cowling, engine bars, tank pad and decal set. The Tourer Pack, available for £499 and with a saving of £135 on individual parts, includes a tank bag on top. The Adventure Pack adds a side case set to the standard five items, and retails for £999, a saving of £248 on the individual items.

The more comprehensive Voyage Pack retains the five standard items, and for £1499 compliments them with a centre-stand, large touring screen, side case set, dry roll bag and tank bag. The GT Pack adds a centre-stand, large touring screen, full hard luggage, large tank bag and LED turn signals, with an RRP of £1999. The Voyager Pack represents a saving of £326 over individual items, while the GT Pack boasts a saving of £475.

Suzuki GB Accessories Manager, Andy Taylor, said, "During the development process of the new V-Strom 1000, we surveyed a number of existing and previous V-Strom owners to better understand what they wanted when it came to Genuine Suzuki accessories. What was immediately obvious was the fact that they wanted a greater range of accessories, and also a sleeker design and fit. All of the accessories available for the new V-Strom where a key part in the design and development process, meaning a more refined fitment and style. These four accessory packs showcase the great range of Genuine accessories available, and also represent the varying needs and wants of V-Strom owners."
