At long last the Successor to the Nissan Primastar is teased with the first shots of the All-New NV300 LCV.

Nissan has revealed the first official image of its all-new NV300 mid-sized van. Featuring styling cues from the company’s pioneering crossover range, it is a successor to the popular Primastar and will fill the gap between the award-winning NV200 and NV400.

Nissan’s latest Emotional Geometry design language – well-known from its class-leading Juke, Qashqai and X-Trail crossovers – is clear to see on the NV300, with the familiar ‘V-motion’ grille dominating the front end.

Nissan is proud to be the Official Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) Partner of the UEFA Champions League. The NV300 has played a vital role in the build-up to the match, carrying the Official Flag of the Final at the start of its journey to the San Siro stadium in Milan, Italy. The flag will take pride of place in the centre circle during the half-time break, witnessed first-hand by thousands of fans and millions of TV viewers worldwide.

When it arrives in showrooms in the autumn, the NV300 willfurther strengthen Nissan’s position as an LCV manufacturer with one of the widest ranges in Europe. It includes the new Navara pick-up and the pioneering zero-emission e-NV200.

Key to its appeal will be the NV300’s market-leading warranty. Unique in the segment, it’s a five-year/100,000-mile pan-European, manufacturer-backed policy that’s fully transferrable to second and subsequent owners. It includes five years’ roadside assistance cover.

Fashion never stands still and it’s in that spirit that Toyota is bringing two new box-fresh versions of its Aygo city car to the road this summer, each making an individual style statement.

Aygo x-cite

The updated x-cite follows the theme set by the original x-cite model, replacing the vibrant Orange Twist paintwork with bright Cyan Splash. The blue metallic bodywork strikes a strong contrast with gloss black custom features, including 15-inch twin-spoke alloy wheels, door mirror casings, front X, front pillar extensions and rear bumper inserts.

The theme is carried through to the cabin where the Cyan Blue shade is featured on the air vent surrounds and carpet mat edging. The seats are finished in dark grey with contrasting blue and light grey bolsters and the centre console and gear shift surround are gleaming gloss black.

For even more street-impact, customers can opt for the bi-tone version of x-cite, which adds metallic black painted roof and front and rear pillars, plus rear privacy glass for an additional £395.

Looks are not the only attraction: x-cite is equipped with the x-touch multimedia system, including Bluetooth and DAB, and a reversing camera. Standard equipment also runs to air conditioning, power-adjustable heated door mirrors, driver’s seat height adjustment, split-folding rear seats, leather steering wheel and gear knob trim, front fog lights and LED daytime running lights, Safety provisions include six airbags ABS with emergency brake distribution, vehicle stability control and a tyre pressure warning system.

Three and five door versions are available, powered by Toyota’s three-cylinder 1.0-litre engine with manual or automatic x-shift transmission. Proving that something stylish can be affordable and practical too, both x-cite and x-pure deliver combined cycle fuel economy from 68.9mpg and CO₂ emissions from 95g/km – below the 100g/km threshold for annual VED (road tax).

Aygo x-pure

White and silver are the colour co-ordinates for the new Aygo x-pure. On the outside the White Flash paintwork is teamed with rear privacy glass, white-painted alloys and silver-finished bodywork elements. Inside, the standard grey seat fabric is accompanied by white and light grey bolsters. The centre console and gear shift surround follow the trend with a silver-white finish.

In terms of equipment specifications, body styles and powertrains, the x-pure provides the same features and choices as the x-cite, apart from the bi-tone package.

The new x-cite and x-pure are available to order now, with first deliveries to customers from this month for x-cite and from August for x-pure and the bi-tone model. All are covered by Toyota’s five-year/100,000-mile new car warranty.
