At the same time, the interioris more generous compared with the predecessor and the infotainment offering has been extended.
The new Tiguan shines with a new range of eight engines from 115 PS/85 kW up to 240 PS/176 kW* – all more powerful and more economical than their predecessors – including four standard engines equipped with 4MOTION all-wheel drive. Several pioneering safety and assistance systems are available on the new Tiguan. Congratulations to Bentley, Auto Bild Allrad magazine gives them an Award

Readers of Europe’s most popular 4x4 magazine, Auto Bild Allrad, have named the Bentley Continental GT ‘All-wheel Sports Car of the Year’ in the import category. Over 105,000 readers cast their votes in Auto Bild Allrad’s annual online poll, choosing from 151 cars in 10 categories.

Commenting on the Auto Bild Allrad readers’ award, Dr Wolfgang Schreiber, CEO of Bentley Motors, said: “For over a decade, the Bentley Continental GT has defined ultimate luxury and high performance grand touring. The unique W12 engine of the first GT has been so successful that Bentley is now the world’s largest producer of 12-cylinder engines. We are honoured to receive this prestigious award and thank the readers of Auto Bild Allrad.”

Revealed at the Paris Motor Show in late 2002, the Continental GT not only marked the birth of a new product range for Bentley but also the beginning of an extraordinary renaissance for the Bentley brand, emerging as a contemporary design icon combining a highly distinctive profile with hand-crafted luxury and cutting-edge technology. The Continental GT range currently consists of the Continental V8, the Continental W12 and the performance flagship Continental GT Speed in both Coupe and Convertible guise.

Bentley’s permanent all-wheel drive system is a standard feature on all Continental models, and employs a central Torsen differential which harnesses the prodigious power and torque and ensures huge levels of grip and stability whatever the road or weather conditions.  The Continental GT offers an unrivalled combination of luxury, performance and everyday usability.

The award, which is the latest of several accolades Bentley has received in recent months, was presented on 21st March 2013 at a ceremony in Frankfurt.
