The London Motor Show plays host to MG's All New UK designed SUV, the GS, lets hope the sales fly for this one.

MG Motor UK has unveiled its all-new SUV, the MG GS, at the London Motor Show today and announced an automatic DCT gearbox will be available.
At an exclusive preview event at the Battersea Park show, MG has proudly pulled back the cover on the GS to reveal the striking new addition to the UK model range.

MG was also pleased to announce that the GS will come with the British manufacturer’s first automatic transmission. The SUV’s top specification model will be available with the option of a DCT gearbox; which will be more responsive and provide customers with a much smoother ride. The GS will also come with an agile 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and will be available in three different trim levels.
Matthew Cheyne, Head of Sales and Marketing for MG, said: “When considering transmissions and engine choices, we listened to our customers and looked at market trends. It’s not only a momentous occasion to unveil our first SUV, it is also a significant moment to announce our first automatic – something many of our customers have been waiting for, and so we’re thrilled to be offering it to them.”
MG is assuring customers that when prices are announced in June, they will reflect the family pricing strategy.
Cheyne added: “Regarding how much this fantastic new car will cost, it will be consistent with our other models. We’re proud of the fact our prices are transparent. When we say our cars are affordable, we mean it. The price structures are easy to understand and have no surprise additions.
“When we officially launch the GS next month, people will be able to find out more about the car’s performance and when they can get behind the wheel of one.”

This Saturday is THE day that MG launches it's next all new car to the United Kingdom, and this one is very good.

The countdown is on! In only seven days time, MG Motor UK will be unveiling its all-new SUV to attendees of the London Motor Show.
MG announced in October last year that it was the first volume manufacturer to confirm attendance at the London based car show. The British brand decided that this was the perfect platform to unveil its new SUV, the MG GS.

Following a tour around the UK in the form of augmented reality, members of the public attending the Battersea Park show will get the opportunity to get up-close and personal with the real MG GS. MG will be announcing further teases about the car at the event, which is sure to generate more interest in this exciting new model.
Matthew Cheyne, Head of Sales and Marketing for MG, said: “Next week will be a really exciting moment for us, as we’re getting closer to launching this fantastic car into the market. Members of the public are finally getting the chance to get their hands on the UK model and see for themselves what an outstanding car this is.
“We’re extremely proud of the GS, so we’re looking forward to unveiling it and speaking to attendees of the event about how easily it will fit into their lifestyle. I can assure potential customers that it will be consistent with the MG-family pricing strategy.”
Those attending the motor show will see MG’s latest range in the central display area in Battersea Park. Tickets are £15 and the event runs from Friday 6 May until Sunday 8 May.
