VUHL, the Mexican lightweight supercar maker established in 2010 is celebrating its most successful year to date with the opening of a brand new flagship showroom in Mexico City’s fashionable Polanco district.
Part of the Surman Group’s site in Polanco’s Campos Eliseos (Mexico City’s Champs Elisees), the new VUHL showroom is situated among the Group’s other brands including Bentley and Ducati.

Surman is one of Mexico’s largest automotive retailers, established over 30 years, with some 80 showrooms representing brands including Audi, Bentley, Ducati, Porsche and now VUHL.
Hot on the heels of VUHL cars going on sale in the UK for the first time with Bespoke Set ups, www.bespokeperformance.co.uk and the world debut of the new 600BHP-Per-Tonne VUHL 05RR at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, 2016 marks the company’s most successful year to date, with all cars displayed at the new showroom opening in Mexico City now sold.
Some 100 guests including new customers and VIPs attended the new showroom’s opening – co-designed by VUHL technical director, Iker Echeverria and architect Alejandro Esparza.
VUHL co-founder Guillermo Echeverria said: “This is a very special year for VUHL, we feel properly established in 2016, with a good number of cars sold, new distribution partners in the UK and Middle East and the launch of our ultimate 05RR.  Our new showroom here in our home city literally cements our business as a proud Mexican product with a global vision – we plan to emulate this design and feel in our other key markets around the world.”
The new two-storey showroom features three new cars, a monocoque structure (just 78kg) to demonstrate the vehicle’s super-lightweight underpinnings, more lightweight components with VUHL´s bespoke carbon wheel display, exclusive merchandise, while on the upper floor is a unique VUHL configurator and test drive booking service.

The awesome VUHL 05RR gets it's first ever reveal at this years Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The VUHL 05, which is now on sale in the UK, is about to meet its lighter, faster, track-focused younger brother at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2016.
Part of the new category, Race Cars for the Road, within the Michelin Supercar Paddock at the Festival of Speed, the new VUHL 05RR will be revealed for the first time and driven up the famed Goodwood Hillclimb by UK rising star GP2 driver and Formula 1 test driver, Jordan King.

Iker Echeverria, VUHL Technical Director, said: “I am so looking forward to returning to the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year, with our new 05RR car. We have upgraded all the car’s systems to make it faster, more engaging and even more track focused. We feel very close to the UK market, as around 50% of our componentry is developed and produced in Britain, and it is the place we debuted our first car.”
The new 05RR is the result of extensive track development of the 05, combined with aggressive mass reduction and aero programmes and the sourcing of top quality components specified in collaboration with partner suppliers’ engineering teams.
The 05RR will be positioned above the standard VUHL 05 as the choice of the true track and performance enthusiast.  Still road legal, the 05RR retains a number of comfort options to ensure enjoyable and useable on-road performance.
More information will be released from the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which takes place from 23-26 June 2016.
VUHL cars are sold in the UK through Bespoke Performance (www.bespokeperformance.co.uk) based in Ware, Hertfordshire – who will be supporting VUHL and welcoming visitors across the four days of the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2016.

The VUHL 05 is now on sale in the UK, with the Mexican manufacturer showcasing its production specification lightweight supercar at the new London Motor Show in Battersea Park at the weekend.

Back in the UK for a series of promotional events and appearances this summer, the London Motor Show will be VUHL’s first visit to the capital as officially on sale, and provides the perfect platform for enthusiasts and potential customers to get up close to one of 2016’s most thrilling new cars.
VUHL cars will be sold directly through official UK dealer, Bespoke Performance (www.bespokeperformance.co.uk) based in Ware, Hertfordshire – who will be representing VUHL and welcoming visitors across four days at the London Motor Show from the 5th to 8th May 2016.
Iker Echeverria, VUHL Technical Director, said: “After thrilling UK crowds for the first time with our 05 prototype at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, we are proud to announce that our full production specification car for the UK is now on sale.  This is a momentous occasion for the company as the UK represents a key market for us from both a sales and engineering perspective, with almost half of the components sourced here. We hope many visitors will come to our stand and get a close-up look at our first UK car.”

The lightweight ultra aggressive VUHL 05 to take a staring role at the London Motor Show.

With dealers in Mexico, the Middle-East and the UK; the first customer cars delivered; an array of positive media reviews; and a new high-tech factory coming on stream; the VUHL 05 lightweight supercar is set to make great strides in 2016.

London Motor Show
Its first of many public appearances this year will be at the new London Motor Show, Battersea Park, May 5-8, where the up-market brand will be represented by its official UK dealer, Bespoke Performance (www.bespokeperformance.co.uk). This will be the VUHL’s first visit to the England capital and interest in the beautifully-constructed high-performance two-seater is expected to be notably strong.
Goodwood Festival of Speed
An uprated version of the 05 will participate in the new ‘Race Cars For The Road’ class at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (June 23-26), where it will be proudly displayed in the supercar paddock throughout, other than the two times a day when it will take to the hill in earnest in the hands of a yet-to-be-announced top racing driver.
Said VUHL Technical Director Iker Echeverria: “This will be like coming home for us, as VUHL enjoyed its successful global launch at the Festival in 2013, where it was driven by the then Sauber now Haas F1 Team ace Esteban Gutiérrez.
Unique qualities
The ultra-striking VUHL 05 is designed for use on both road and track. Its supplier list reads like a who’s who of the global motor industry and no less than 42 percent of the parts are derived from the UK. But it is its unique combination of innovative design, supreme lightweight (it has a power-to-weight ratio of 410bhp/ton), uncompromising build quality and rigorous attention to detail that really sets it apart from its competitors. Said the company’s Managing Director Guillermo Echeverria: “Many of our customers already own, say, a Porsche or Lamborghini and see the nimbler but equally well-made VUHL as a natural garage companion.” UK prices start at £59,995.00.

The enticing VUHL 05 street-legal lightweight supercar is now on sale in the UK, following the appointment of the marque’s first European dealer – Bespoke Performance of Ware, Herts.

www.bespokeperformance.co.uk.

Well-known to generations of TVR and Noble enthusiasts, Bespoke Performance has a long and varied history dating back to the days of John Britten Garages and the ensuing TVR Centre.

The rebranding and move from Barnet to Ware was completed in 2011 and the company now boasts 10,000 sq ft of smart sales and service premises within easy reach of the M1, M11 and M25 motorways.

Said VUHL Co-Founder Iker Echeverria: “We naturally researched many options for our first dealer. A number of outlets met our criteria for technical ability, but Bespoke Performance won us over with its unique level of passion, and its commitment to the discerning area of the market at which our product is aimed.”

Added Bespoke Sales Director Dr Mark Kent: “We have long since searched for a niche product to complement our established relationships with the TVR and Noble brands, and the VUHL is the first to match all our criteria. We have been bowled over by both the level of professionalism exhibited by this new manufacturer and the build quality of its first model.”
