USA - Mitsubishi Motors has ended the national auction of the very last Lancer Evolution Final Edition.

  • All funds go to Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County in celebration of Hunger Action MonthTM
  • Highly collectible, combined auction total of first and last Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (#0001 and #1600) amount to $122,600 for charity
Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA), today announced the end of a national auction of the very last Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition produced in North America with the winning bid of $76,400. 
The proceeds from the auction will benefit Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, both of which fall under the Feeding America umbrella.

This is the second Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition to be auctioned for charity. Last December, Mitsubishi auctioned the very first Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition, 1 of 1,600 produced, to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. 
The winning bid for that vehicle was $46,200. Together, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Editions US0001 and US1600 have raised a total of $122,600 for charity.
"We're thrilled to see the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition US1600 car generate so much interest and command a top price," said Don Swearingen, executive vice president and chief operating officer, MMNA.

The auction corresponds with National Hunger Action Month, when Feeding America and member food banks ask everyone in America to take action and fight hunger in their community, all September long.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is revered by 'gear heads' around the world and is arguably the originator of the four-door sports car genre. The Final Edition model features a 5-speed transmission paired with a turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder 2.0L engine, making the Final Edition the most powerful mass-produced Evolution ever built with 303 horsepower. The Final Edition is based off the current GSR model and features lightweight two-piece Brembo® brake rotors up front, accompanied by Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach springs at all four corners and Mitsubishi's innovative and unmatched Super All-Wheel Control system. The very last Lancer Evolution will be auctioned off for charity by Mitsubishi Motors USA.

Arguably the originator of the four-door sports car genre, the Lancer Evolution is applauded worldwide for its combination of power, agility and Super All-Wheel Control. Mitsubishi will be auctioning the last Lancer Evolution Final Edition…the US1600 car. To make things even better, all proceeds from the auction will go to Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.

The auction will take place on eBay beginning at 9 a.m. PT Thursday, September 8 and concludes Thursday, September 15 at 9:00 a.m. PT. USA - The time has come, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is launching "The Final Edition", only 1600 though.

  • The Final Edition is based off the current GSR model featuring new enhancements and increases to horsepower and torque
  • Only 1,600 units will be sold in the U.S. market, each marked by a numbered plaque
Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) today announced the details of the limited-production 2015 Lancer Evolution Final Edition. Arguably the originator of the four-door sports car genre, the Lancer Evolution has seen ten generations – three of which were sold in the U.S. over 12 years. 
To send it off in style, Mitsubishi Motors will offer 1,600 numbered Final Edition models to the U.S. market with a MSRP of $37,995.
The Lancer Evolution Final Edition is based off the current GSR model, with exterior and interior enhancements not previously offered on the GSR.

The heart of the Final Edition is a 5-speed transmission paired with a turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder 2.0L engine, producing 303 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 305 lb-ft torque at 4,000 rpm. Performance is further enhanced by use of lightweight two-piece Brembo® brake rotors up front, accompanied by Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach springs at all four corners. 
As with all 2015 Lancer Evolutions, the Final Edition model features Mitsubishi's innovative and unmatched Super All-Wheel control system.
The Final Edition model receives exterior upgrades including a Final Edition badge in the rear, black painted aluminum roof, dark chrome painted Enkei® alloy wheels, gloss black center bumper and hood air outlet and dark chrome front grille surround. Final Edition models will be offered in four colors: new Pearl White, Rally Red, Mercury Gray and Octane Blue.
Inside, a numbered plaque on the center console denotes each of the 1,600 units created. In addition, Final Edition models receive a black headliner, pillars, sun visors and assist handles, and red accent stitching for sport seats, steering wheel, shift knob, console lid, floormats and e-brake handle.

ITALY - The New Audi A4 gets it Italian launch with pricing and specs announced.

  • Rich standard equipment, including Audi pre sense city, speed limiter and MMI newly developed
  • Completely new range of versions and packages combined together
  • Completely new it is the MMI plus it now has a 7 "monitor color and a redesigned interface. As standard the system has voice control, CD player, card reader SDCX, AUX-IN socket, USB port and 8 speakers.
A few weeks after the publication of the first official pictures began their pre-sales on the Italian market of the new Audi A4 and A4 Avant , completely redesigned based on the innovative modular platform longitudinal MLB, which saw its debut in the recent Audi Q7.

The new generation of the Audi A4 is thus presented to customers from 33,800 Euros for the A4 1.4 TFSI 150 hp and 38,250 € for the A4 Avant 2.0 TDI 150 hp .


More spacious compared to the external dimensions slightly increased, lighter up to 120 kg and with equipment of comfort and safety typical of a higher segment models, the new A4 is available with three engines and four TDI TFSI , all feature direct injection and turbocharging and approved to Euro 6 directive.

Thanks to a standard equipment of superior both in terms of driving safety and from the comfort, the A4 range comes as standard equipment the xenon plus headlights with daytime running lights in LED technology, the Audi drive select system with efficiency mode (except for 1.4 TFSI), the Bluetooth interface, the LED interior lighting and automatic climate control.

Of particular importance it is also the presence of series of the safety system Audi pre sense city , thanks to which the car is able to monitor the area in front for about 100 meters and up to a speed of 85 km / h. 

In the event of a risk of collision with vehicles, pedestrians or cyclists, the system warns the driver and activates an automatic braking that can greatly limit the impact speed, until you get to avoid it when the initial speed of the vehicle is less than 40 km / h .

Completely new it is the MMI plus it now has a 7 "monitor color and a redesigned interface.As standard the system has voice control, CD player, card reader SDCX, AUX-IN socket, USB port and 8 speakers.

Evolution package: headlights and rear LED technology with dynamic rear turn signals, lights package and 3-zone deluxe automatic air conditioning. Price of 1,810 Euros.Customer advantage of 29%.

The commercial launch is scheduled for November .
