Leaked brochure images of a mid-life revision to Mazda's CX-5 SUV have appeared online, ahead of its appearance at the LA Motor Show
Mazda's CX-5 SUV has only been on sale for two years so it has plenty of life left in it yet. But the Japanese brand has still decided to keep its car ahead of the newest batch of rival crossovers with a mid-life nip-and-tuck, as these pictures show.
While the facelifted model is tipped to be unveiled at the LA Motor Show in a few weeks time, images have leaked online that appear to be scanned from the brochure for the 2015 CX-5. Although clearly showing the Japanese-spec model, it is likely that this is what we can expect to see at the official reveal next week.
Notable changes to the Mazda include a revised, chrome-slatted front grille and a new LED headlamp design, as well as classier foglamp surrounds and fresh wheel designs. The images aren't the clearest, but the changes appear to make the CX-5 look noticeably more upmarket, helping it to compete with the likes of the newer Nissan Qashqai.
Prices and specs are yet to be announced, but expect some minor revisions to the powertrain, as well as a updated interior to match the outside. Further details will appear in the coming weeks.
