Jeep’s growing popularity in the UK continues as figures revealed today show new car registrations rose by 165 percent in February 2015, when compared with the same period last year.
The ‘Go Anywhere, Do Anything’ brand is certainly going in the right direction in the sales charts, registering 196 new cars last month, compared with 74 in February 2014. It’s the 18th consecutive month of year-on-year sales growth.
“We’ve been telling people that Jeep is back, and I’m delighted that these latest figures once again confirm our claims,” says Damien Dally, head of brand, Jeep UK. “We are more than holding our own against some tough competition and we are determined to continue doing that.
“The addition of the fantastic new Renegade to the Jeep line-up can only help us to achieve our goal of a really successful year in 2015.”
Available in two- and four-wheel-drive, and with a range of powerful and economical petrol and diesel engines, the new Jeep Renegade comes in four trim levels, including the trail-rated Trailhawk version. Prices start from £16,995 OTR.
