That’s because The Show is launching ‘A Century of Supercars’, a global poll to name the greatest supercar of all time – and the winner will be revealed at Alexandra Palace from 28th – 30th October in a show-stopping centerpiece.

The game-changing contenders vying for victory include the Mercedes 60hp, Alfa Romeo 8C 2900, monstrous Metallurgique, sublime Ferrari 250GT SWB, fiery Ferrari F40 and record-breaking Bugatti Veyron to name just a handful of pioneering machines.

Once all the first-round votes are in, the winners from each category will be pitted against each other in a final showdown with voting taking place throughout September. All the finalists will be on show, and the winner will be revealed in a spectacular multi-million pound display.
Tickets for the event are now officially on sale. James Elliott, Classic & Sports Car Group Editor: “It’s hugely exciting that we will be naming the greatest supercar of all time at The Classic & Sports Car Show this autumn. We’ve burned the midnight oil to come up with probably the most in-depth list of supercars ever compiled – a true century of pioneering machines.

“There are some incredible icons, from household names such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bugatti – but also some of the more unsung heroes of the pursuit of going as fast as possible. I can’t wait to see what people vote for from each decade and it’s going to be a real show-stopper bringing the finalists to Alexandra Palace this autumn.”

The Classic & Sports Car Show in 2016 will feature more than 300 of the world’s most prestigious classic cars from world-famous collectors and world-renowned classic car retailers. Full details of The Show’s content will be revealed over the coming months.
