DS Divine concept receives its London Debut at Hyde Park, the future look of the DS Brand relies on this.

Following its UK public premiere at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the spectacular Divine DS concept car headed to London for an exclusive drive through the iconic scenery of Hyde Park. 

The historic backdrop provided a contrast to the ultra-modern design of Divine DS, which represents a vision of the future for DS Automobiles. Divine DS features a range of sleek, powerful styling cues and state-of-the-art technologies that symbolise the ‘spirit of avant-garde’. 

The Divine DS concept car captured the imagination of passers-by in London’s Hyde Park recently, where it was taken for an exclusive drive through the stunning scenery along the banks of The Serpentine.

Divine DS was created in Paris as a showcase for the design language of future models from DS Automobiles. The current DS range has sold more than 550,000 vehicles worldwide since the launch of DS 3 in 2010. Divine DS provides a glimpse of the future as DS Automobiles prepares for the launch of six new production models by 2020.

Divine DS is a manifest for the core values of DS Automobiles. The striking ‘DS Wings’ signature at the front is set against a contrasting diamond pattern on the grille. This diamond pattern is repeated as a theme throughout – from the unique roof design to the modular rear lights – representing the brand’s ‘spirit of avant-garde’ design philosophy that sets all DS models apart.

The Divine DS concept also features advanced, experiential technologies, such as DS LED vision headlights and sequential indicators, as well as a bold high-tech cabin that includes a fully-digital interface comprising a holographic head-up display and a 10.4 inch HD touchscreen.

The cabin clearly illustrates DS Automobiles’ focus on refinement and attention to detail. Full-grain aniline leather upholstery is patterned with a unique version of the iconic DS ‘watch-strap’ seat design. The modular interior provides the ultimate in personalisation with three interchangeable interior ambiences, each with its own unique style.

The interior of Divine DS was designed in collaboration with two prestigious fashion brands, each renowned for their expertise and excellence. There are crystals from Swarovski on the door panels and dashboard, and embroidery from Lesage as part of the interior trim to bring haute-couture levels of sophistication and quality to the cabin.

Set against the backdrop of London’s famous Hyde Park, Divine DS makes an avant-garde statement as a car that stands out from the ordinary. It also represents an exciting vision of the future for DS Automobiles.

DS brand will be showcasing a great field of products at its first ever Goodwood visit, including a 1957 DS.

DS Automobiles is proud to make its first appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. DS will mark the beginning of a new era, as a premium French brand, with a significant presence at the UK’s most prestigious automotive event. 

The DS showcase will be the focal point of the 60^th anniversary celebrations for the original DS. A 1957 DS will be at the heart of the display, paying tribute to the rich heritage of DS. 

The Divine DS concept car will also be on show, as the inspiration for future DS models. New DS 5 will make its UK public premiere, as well as being available for exclusive test drives during the Moving Motor Show.

Visitors to the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed are invited to immerse themselves in the world of DS Automobiles, the newly established premium French brand.

To celebrate the 60^th anniversary of the original DS from 1955, the DS Automobiles area will showcase the full DS range, taking guests on a journey through time from the past, into the present and future of DS.

Guests will be able to experience the essence of DS, including the first UK public appearance of New DS 5, the flagship of the DS range.

The Divine DS concept car, which was unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, offers a vision for the future of the DS brand, featuring sleek, powerful styling and striking graphic signatures. Divine DS is also the inspiration for visitors to experience ‘Divine Moments’ in the DS zone.

For these #divineDSmoments, Artisan chocolatiers have been commissioned to create limited edition chocolates, to reinforce the premium experience for visitors to the display. In addition, DS hosts will offer guests the opportunity to have their photograph taken with Divine DS and win a range of premium prizes.

The flagship of the range, New DS 5 is the first DS to feature full DS Automobiles branding right around the car. It also features a new front end, complete with the ‘DS Wings’ design signature, and ‘watch strap’ upholstery in semi-aniline leather, the finest grade of leather used in the automotive industry.

New DS 5 is a premium vehicle unlike anything else in its segment. Two versions, including a New DS 5 1955 Limited Edition, will be displayed in the DS area. Guests at the Moving Motor Show on Thursday 25 June will have the opportunity to drive New DS 5 for the first time – on the legendary Goodwood Hillclimb.

DS 4 has also received a series of enhancements this year, including the introduction of the latest highly efficient Euro 6 engines, updated DS badging and new paint colour options. Meanwhile, DS 3 is now available with a new state-of-the-art six-speed automatic transmission delivering smoother gear changes and a more refined driving experience.
