High performance, sleek design & Innovative tech, that will be the new 2015 Ford Mustang.

  • All-new sophisticated design clearly inspired by 50 years of Mustang heritage evolved to attract wider array of customers and expand global market availability
  • The new Mustang is the first car to offer four-, six- and eight-cylinder engines that each produce at least 300 horsepower – a 300-horsepower 3.7-liter V6, a more powerful 435-horsepower 5.0-liter V8, and an all-new 310-horsepower* 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine
  • Mustang sets new performance and dynamics benchmarks for the brand with world-class handling, more precise steering control and enhanced ride comfort
Loaded with innovative technologies and delivering high levels of performance and style, the all-new Mustang is the next chapter in the life of one of the world’s most iconic cars.
“Ford Mustang inspires passion like no other car,” said Raj Nair, Ford group vice president, Global Product Development. “The visceral look, sound and performance of Mustang resonates with people, even if they’ve never driven one. Mustang is definitely more than just a car – it is the heart and soul of Ford.”
Mustang’s impact goes well beyond the 9 million-plus cars sold in its 50 years of continuous production. It has made thousands of appearances in film, television, music and video games, and is the world’s most-liked vehicle on Facebook. For the first time ever, Ford will bring Mustang to customers in key parts of Europe and Asia.

The Mustang experience
The way Mustang looks, drives and sounds is key to the visceral experience that makes drivers just want to get in the driver’s seat and hit the road. The Mustang is the first car to offer four-, six- and eight-cylinder engines that each produce at least 300 horsepower. With more powertrain options to choose from, there is a Mustang to fit any lifestyle. The 3.7-liter V6 and upgraded 5.0-liter V8 are joined by an all-new 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine that brings state-of-the-art technology to Mustang.

The Mustang’s EcoBoost engine uses direct injection, variable cam timing and turbocharging to deliver plenty of usable performance across a broad RPM range. A unique intake manifold and turbocharger housing enable it to deliver the performance Mustang drivers expect with 310 horsepower* and 320 lb.-ft. of torque.*
“This EcoBoost engine delivers where a Mustang driver expects it to, with a broad, flat torque curve that pours out when you stand on it for easy passing or hustling down a twisty road,” said Dave Pericak, Ford Mustang chief engineer.
Mustang GT continues with the latest edition of the throaty 5.0-liter V8, now featuring an upgraded valvetrain and cylinder heads that help boost output to 435 horsepower* and 400 lb.-ft. of torque*. A new intake manifold features charge motion control valves to partially close off port flow at lower engine speeds. This increases the air charge tumble and swirl for improved air-fuel mixing resulting in improved efficiency and idle stability.
With 300 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque on tap from the standard 3.7-liter V6, even the most accessible Mustang delivers the performance customers expect. Drivers will appreciate smoother shifts from the updated manual gearbox, while a reworked automatic transmission features new steering wheel-mounted shift paddles for drivers who want the choice between convenience and control.
All-new shape, yet unmistakably Mustang
The clean-sheet design of both Mustang fastback and convertible evokes the essential character of the brand, retaining key design elements – including the long sculpted hood and short rear deck – with contemporary execution.

Several key design features define the all-new Mustang, including:
  • A lower, wider stance with a reduction in roof height, and wider rear fenders and track
  • The return of Mustang fastback with a sleeker profile enabled by more steeply sloped windshield and rear glass
  • Three-dimensional, tri-bar taillamps with sequential turn signals
  • Contemporary execution of the signature shark-bite front fascia and trapezoidal grille
The information and controls an active driver needs are all readily accessible in the aviation-inspired cockpit, which is executed with the highest degree of craftsmanship ever found in a Mustang. Large, clear instrumentation puts vehicle information right in front of the driver in the roomier cabin, while improved ergonomics and tactile switches and knobs provide better control. The added width and a new rear suspension contribute to improved shoulder and hip room for rear-seat passengers, and a more usefully shaped trunk can accommodate two golf bags.
Slipping through the air
Design and performance are two of the essential attributes that have made Mustang appeal to millions of fans for five decades. Performance can be improved by increasing the output of the powerplant or reducing the amount of work it has to do. The sleeker shape helps it slip through the air with less effort.

Each of Mustang’s three available engines gets a unique grille that allows in only as much air as that specific powerplant needs. Active grille shutters will help make the Mustang powered by the new 2.3-liter EcoBoost®engine even more fuel efficient by further reducing drag at higher speeds when extra cooling capacity is not needed. The shutters can completely close off the grille, sending air over and around the car instead of through the engine compartment.
Carving up the curves
When life throws drivers a curve, the all-new Mustang sets new handling benchmarks for the brand, delivering world-class dynamics and ride quality.
Mustang features all-new front and rear suspension systems. At the front, a new perimeter subframe helps to stiffen the structure while reducing mass, providing a better foundation for more predictable wheel control that benefits handling, steering and ride.
The new double-ball-joint front MacPherson strut system also enables the use of larger, more powerful brakes. The 2015 Mustang has the most capable brake lineup ever offered on a Mustang.
At the rear is an all-new integral-link independent rear suspension. The geometry, springs, dampers and bushings all have been specifically modified and tuned for this high-performance application. New aluminum rear knuckles help reduce unsprung mass for improved ride and handling.
Smarter than your average pony
The all-new Mustang features a significant amount of innovative technologies providing drivers with enhanced information, control and connectivity when they want it. From Intelligent Access with push-button start to SYNC® and MyKey® in every Mustang built, plus standard Track Apps, MyColor® gauges and a new Shaker Pro Audio System, drivers will be able to customize their time behind the wheel.

The feeling of freedom and confidence Mustang instills in its drivers is amplified when they can take control of how the car behaves. On a twisty back road or a weekend track day, the driver can tap the toggle switches on the console to quickly adjust steering effort, engine response, and transmission and electronic stability control settings using the available Selectable Drive Modes to create the perfect Mustang at any time.
The advanced new Ford-developed stability control system is tuned to maximize Mustang’s dynamic capabilities. When the time comes to turn up the wick at the track, Mustang GT includes standard launch control on manual-transmission models that enables drivers to achieve smooth, consistent starts every time.
When it’s time to back off and relax for the drive home, available advanced driver-assist features including Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) with cross-traffic alert and adaptive cruise control can help ease the load, while SYNC AppLink lets drivers control their smartphone apps to listen to their favorite form of entertainment.
Debuting on the 2015 Mustang are enhancements to the SYNC® 911 Assist® feature. The enhancements will provide the ability to deliver information such as the maximum change in velocity during impact, indication of crash type (front, side, rear or rollover), safety belt usage as detected by the vehicle, awareness of whether multiple impacts occurred and whether airbags were deployed.
More airbags, more high-strength steel
An all-new inflatable airbag restraint design provides the front seat passenger with knee airbag protection while significantly reducing system size and weight, enabling a roomier interior for more comfort. This new airbag is part of a standard comprehensive safety system that includes a more robust package of sensors, safety belt anchor pretensioners, improved exterior lighting and double the total number of airbags on the fastback Mustang.

USA - Latest Lincoln Navigator, more powerful, redesigned and updated, the best yet !

  • More powerful engine, redesigned exterior, updated interior and customer-focused technologies reaffirm Lincoln Navigator’s leadership in the full-size luxury SUV market
  • New 3.5-liter, twin-turbocharged EcoBoost® engine delivers more power and torque than previous-generation Navigator, while providing EPA-estimated, best-in-class fuel economy of 16 mpg city, 22 mpg highway and 18 mpg combined
  • Available Reserve Package includes leather-wrapped instrument panel, armrests and gear shift, premium Ziricote wood trim, upgraded premium leather on all three rows of seats and 22-inch polished aluminum wheels
The 2015 Lincoln Navigator offers a fresh interpretation of the classic vehicle that created the full-size luxury SUV segment.
With a new EcoBoost® engine, refreshed exterior design and enhanced interior appointments, the new Lincoln Navigator offers a compelling combination of power and refinement. Outstanding passenger room, towing capability, ride and handling, and fuel economy are attainable for thousands of dollars less than competitors.
The 2015 Lincoln Navigator goes on sale this year with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price starting at $62,475, including destination and delivery charges.
“The 2015 Lincoln Navigator provides many upgrades over the outgoing model, offering customers – whether loyal Navigator owners or drivers new to the brand – new and compelling reasons to consider driving a Navigator,” said Matt VanDyke, director, global Lincoln.
Exterior design changes are accentuated by the execution of Lincoln’s split-wing grille. The more refined appearance complements enhanced power and hauling capabilities that Navigator customers demand. Enhancements to the interior include luxurious leather and additional customer-focused technologies such as SYNC® with MyLincoln Touch.

The sleek front end includes a newly designed hood, and the back end features a power liftgate. Navigator wears jewel-like daytime running lights, as well as high-intensity discharge adaptive headlamps with LED accents. A total of 222 LEDs illuminate the exterior and give Navigator a distinct personality.
Navigator comes standard with 20-inch ultra-bright machined aluminum wheels while Reserve Package vehicles are equipped with 22-inch bright machined aluminum wheels. The Reserve Package offers power running boards in Tuxedo Black or bright stainless steel.
The 2015 Navigator continues to be available in two wheelbase lengths – standard (119.0 inches) and extended (131.0 inches) versions.
A powerful, quiet ride with class-leading fuel economy
Under the hood of the new Lincoln Navigator is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine that delivers outstanding power on demand while also providing best-in-class fuel economy for the standard-wheelbase 4x2 model. The twin-turbocharged, direct-injected engine is rated at 380 horsepower at 5,250 rpm and 460 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,750 rpm by the Society of Automotive Engineers.
The EcoBoost formula of turbocharging and direct fuel injection creates a smoother torque curve than larger-displacement V8 engines. A 4.10:1 rear-axle is standard on Navigator L models (available on Navigator) and helps multiply the torque for maximum acceleration. This wealth of low-end torque makes towing even easier.
Power and performance are delivered in a luxuriously quiet environment. Compared with the outgoing model, the new Navigator achieves improved interior quietness and scores a higher articulation index rating – a measure of how easy it is to hear a conversation – courtesy of nearly two dozen vehicle upgrades.
Bumper to bumper, roof to floor, the 2015 Navigator was built with a comfortable passenger experience in mind. Acoustic laminated glass called SoundScreen®, enhanced carpet, headliner and insulated door and floor panels combine to create a quieter interior.
When properly equipped, the 2015 Navigator also delivers best-in-class towing of 9,000 pounds with maximum payload of 1,570 pounds.
Navigator’s six-speed automatic transmission includes Lincoln SelectShift®, which allows the driver to manually control gears if desired.
Navigator is available in rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. An available Control Trac four-wheel-drive system enhances traction on slippery surfaces, helps improve handling on dry roads and enables off-road capability.
The standard-wheelbase 4x2 Navigator gets an EPA-estimated, best-in-class fuel economy rating of 16 mpg city, 22 mpg highway and 18 mpg combined. Standard-wheelbase 4x4 Navigator gets EPA-estimated 15 mpg city, 20 mpg highway and 17 mpg combined, while the extended-wheelbase 4x2 model returns EPA-estimated 15 mpg city, 20 mpg highway and 17 mpg combined and the 4x4 configuration gets an EPA-estimated 15 mpg city, 19 mpg highway and 16 mpg combined.
Best-handling Navigator ever
Helping make the 2015 model the best-handling Navigator ever is the addition of standard electric power-assisted steering. The system allows for more consistent and precise control of the vehicle through a range of speeds, while simultaneously making it easier to maneuver at low speeds and to park.
The Lincoln Drive Control option offers continuously controlled damping, a technology applied to the suspension that monitors multiple vehicle sensors and road conditions every two milliseconds and adjusts suspension needs accordingly. Continuously controlled damping provides a smoother ride – the best-ever for Navigator – and allows the driver to customize the vehicle ride by selecting one of three control modes: normal, sport and comfort.
“With the addition of EPAS and CCD to Navigator’s class-leading independent rear suspension, along with EcoBoost power and a strong brake system, the Navigator is surprisingly nimble for such a large vehicle,” said David Cantrell, assistant chief program engineer.
Navigators equipped with four-wheel drive offer driver-friendly Hill Descent Control, along with standard hill start assist. With hill start assist, a vehicle parked on a slope with a grade of five degrees or more remains stationary for up to two seconds after the driver releases the brake pedal, eliminating forward or backward roll before acceleration.
With Hill Descent Control, the driver sets a desired speed and the system applies brake pressure as needed to descend steep grades at a controlled speed. This feature is especially helpful when towing.
Also standard on Select package models is Nivomat®, a load-leveling system that raises the rear end of a loaded Navigator to optimum ride height for improved handling. The mechanical leveling system helps reduce uneven wear on the tires and helps maintain better vehicle aerodynamics for improved fuel efficiency.
Luxuriously appointed interior
With the new Navigator, power and performance are delivered while maintaining a true luxury environment. The new Navigator scores high on interior quietness, allowing passengers to more comfortably enjoy conversation.
Navigator has long been synonymous with large-scale luxury. On the 2015 model, the available Reserve Package introduces a new level of luxury, offering customers:
  • Updated cabin that extends upgraded premium leather to all three rows of seats, as well as to the armrests, center console lid and gear shift
  • Hand-wrapped leather instrument panel with contrast stitching and leather glove box door
  • Premium Ziricote wood trim, a luxurious natural-grain wood new to the automotive industry that is most commonly used as an accent in yachts
Navigator comes standard with the new Lincoln steering wheel. The Wollsdorf leather-wrapped, wood-trimmed wheel features a thick grip and soft touch for a dynamic driving experience.
Designed to seat up to eight, Navigator offers second-row options that include two captain’s chairs with or without a center console, or a fold-flat bench. Due in part to Navigator’s patented independent rear suspension, true fold-flat, PowerFold® third-row seats enable standard-wheelbase and extended-wheelbase versions to deliver segment-leading cargo volume behind the third row.
Extended-length models provide 128.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the first row, 86.3 cubic feet behind the second row and 42.6 cubic feet behind the third row. Standard-wheelbase models have 103.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the first row, 54.4 cubic feet behind the second row and 18.1 cubic feet behind the third row.
“The new Lincoln Navigator has more of what our customers want delivering both power and beauty,” said Elaine Bannon, chief engineer. “It’s got the new Lincoln design DNA on the exterior, a redesigned instrument panel and a new Reserve option with 22-inch wheels along with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine. Once we were able to include all of those elements, I knew we had a vehicle people will love.”
Technology-based luxury
Illuminated welcome mats under the front doors greet Navigator driver and passenger when the unlock button on the key fob is pressed.
A passive entry system allows owners to enter without using a key. The system senses when the key fob is in range of the door and allows for keyless access via a door-mounted button. Inside, push-button start allows for keyless engine ignition.
SYNC with MyLincoln Touch is standard is standard equipment. The driver connect system allows drivers to use voice-activated or touch screen controls to make phone calls, play music, manage the navigation system or set cabin temperature. The system includes a 4.2-inch LCD screen in the instrument cluster, an 8-inch touch screen in the center stack and traditional knob controls for easy operation.
A standard Blind Spot Information System signals when another vehicle is detected in an adjacent lane behind either rear wheel. For 2015, Navigator also introduces a standard rearview camera, which displays a color image on the 8-inch touch screen to give the driver a better view when driving in reverse.
The 2015 Lincoln Navigator will be produced at Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky. It is due to arrive in showrooms later this year.

Based on Ford analysis of Polk new vehicle retail registration data from IHS Automotive, Ford is gaining share in the millennial demographic, defined as buyers ages 18-34. According to the analysis, as vehicle registrations within this demographic have increased 33 percent since 2009, Ford’s share has increased 72 percent, more than double the industry pace. That means retail share for the Ford brand in this age group grew from 9.4 percent in 2009 to 12 percent today.

Since 2009, Explorer has contributed 21 percent to Ford’s overall growth in retail registrations within this coveted demographic.
“Explorer contributes more to Ford’s millennial sales and share growth than any other passenger car or utility vehicle in the lineup,” said Erich Merkle, U.S. sales analyst for Ford. “This is more proof Explorer attracts all types of customers with great looks and third-row versatility.”
The new appearance package for Explorer XLT includes striking exterior details, with 20-inch machined aluminum wheels featuring painted pockets, black body-side cladding and roof rack rails.
