- Jaguar Land Rover achieves new record registrations in the UK with over 100,000 vehicles registered in 2015

Jaguar Land Rover reported a 22% growth in registrations today – a record year for the UK market. For the full year 2015 a total of 100,787 vehicles (versus 82,845 in 2014) were registered thanks to a combination of new and updated products making the UK the number one market for the company.
Land Rover UK registrations reached a new all-time high of 76,837 vehicles, an increase of 19% and surpassing last year's figure of 64,544 vehicles. Jaguar was up 30% with 23,950 registrations in 2015 versus 18,401 vehicles in 2014.
Major new model introductions, the launch of the new Ingenium engine and commitment to grow the Fleet and Business operations are key catalysts for this growth.

Land Rover
For the full year 2015, Land Rover achieved record sales in the UK. The Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Evoque all established new UK annual registration records growing by 11%, 19% and 11% respectively.
This year saw big changes for the fastest selling Land Rover ever, the Range Rover Evoque with 20,802 vehicles registered. The compact SUV received the new Ingenium engine and a host of exterior and interior enhancements.
In January 2015 the all-new Land Rover Discovery Sport went on sale and quickly achieved strong sales momentum with 16,484 UK registrations in 2015.
In its final year of production, 8,442 Defenders were registered, a 15% increase on 2014.
Jaguar
In spring 2015, Jaguar launched the all-new XE the most advanced, refined and efficient sports saloon ever – already 9,561 have been registered in the UK.
In addition to the strong impact of the Jaguar XE, Jaguar’s growth was influenced by the introduction of All-Wheel Drive and Manual transmission variants to its F-TYPE sports car.
The new XF is 190kg lighter than its predecessor thanks to an aluminium-intensive body and chassis construction, and offers new powertrain options which optimise performance and efficiency. XF has been the best seller for Jaguar in 2015 with 10,973 registered vehicles.
Orders are now being taken for the new Jaguar F-PACE performance crossover which will be available to UK customers from late spring of 2016.
