There are whispers in the corridors of Goodwood House. Will this year be the year that Nick Heidfeld’s record-breaking hill run of 41.6 seconds is finally broken? The 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed is coming and the team are gearing up to go full throttle.
The official digital launch of the 24th Festival of Speed will take place on Tuesday 12 April at www.goodwood.com.
The launch will include news about the cars and drivers coming to celebrate our 2016 theme ‘Full Throttle – The Endless Pursuit of Power’, a celebration of the most powerful competition cars and motorcycles from the history of motor sport, and the heroic drivers and riders who tamed them.
We will reveal more about Gerry Judah’s newest masterpiece Central Feature, soon to emerge glistening in the sunshine on the turning circle, alongside more on our James Hunt 40th anniversary Formula 1 World Championship tribute and news about Thursday’s Moving Motor Show.
The Festival of Speed will take place from 23-26 June 2016.
Tickets and hospitality packages for both events are on sale with Saturday and Weekend tickets already in limited numbers. More information is available via www.goodwood.com/tickets or via phone 01243 755055
