The Jaguar F-PACE, the fastest-selling Jaguar ever, has been crowned Fleet World’s ‘Best SUV’ at the annual Fleet World Honours. 

With an aluminium-intensive construction and ultra-efficient Ingenium engines, the F-PACE was not only praised for being great to drive, but also for its low cost of ownership figures and modern technology.

These credentials earn it the E-Performance badge, which is reserved for models that combine traditional Jaguar performance with the most affordable ownership costs and optimised efficiency.

In addition, the existing 180PS four-cylinder Ingenium diesel is available with an automatic RWD transmission for the first time as part of the 2018 Model Year enhancements, delivering CO₂ emissions of 134g/km and combined fuel economy of 55.4mpg (5.1l/100km).

The Volvo XC90 has been crowned Best SUV at the Fleet World Honours 2016.

The Volvo XC90 has been crowned Best SUV at the Fleet World Honours 2016. The prestigious award ceremony was held at the famous Royal Automobile Club in London on Tuesday 19th April 2016. The XC90 was praised by the judges for its elegant design, luxurious and practical interior, and advanced safety and connectivity equipment.

USA - Honda celebrates a brace of wins at the 6th Annual Hispanic Motor Press Awards.

TELEGRAPH AWARDS - Land Rover wins best brand of the year award and Best SUV.

• Land Rover honoured as Best Brand by Telegraph Cars
• Double celebrations as Discovery Sport voted Best SUV
• Praise for its outstanding dynamic performance

Land Rover has been voted Best Brand at the 2015 Telegraph Cars Awards, the first time the manufacturer has received the top honour from readers. There were double celebrations as the Discovery Sport was also named Best SUV, which Land Rover has now won for three years in succession. 

Last year the Evoque was voted number one, while in 2013 it was the Discovery.

Steven Huntingford, Head of Cars at Telegraph Media Group, commented: “This is the third year in a row that Land Rover has won the award for Best SUV, each time with a different car. Such consistently high standards explain why Land Rover is our Best Brand.”
