Purpose

I will try my best to provide detailed info on various cars and what is like to live with them, I have already produced a few for Jaguar-car-forums, I will do my best to be unbiased, but it will be hard for some cars. I will re-produce press releases and copy from other motoring news.

The first British Bentley dealership is unveiled with the new brand identity, luxury, comfort and modern.

  • New design is inspired by company’s history and modern luxury retailing
  • Created with the same luxurious materials and hand-crafted with the same attention to detail as Bentley cars
  • New corporate identity rolled out as brand builds up to the launch of new Bentayga
  • Customer commissioning areas for creative personalisation
Bentley Berkshire today becomes the first of Bentley’s UK showrooms to implement the brand’s new corporate identity, following an extensive upgrade to the Pangbourne sales and aftersales centre.

Drawing inspiration from the British luxury marque’s rich 96-year heritage, as well as the best in modern luxury retailing, the template for the new design was first showcased with the opening of CW1 House – a flagship showroom concept at Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe.
Bentley Berkshire has integrated the new, modern façade within the site’s existing footprint; the powerful and contemporary new look perfectly complementing the dealership’s familiar Georgian brick-built frontage.
Sarah Simpson, Bentley Regional Director UK, commented: “The new-look Bentley Berkshire site has been designed to give our customers a bold, clear and contemporary vision of the Bentley brand, and is finished with the same level of luxury for which our cars are renowned.
“With the imminent arrival of our new Bentayga, Bentley is introducing a new world of customisation to the SUV segment. The new showroom design will enable customers visiting Bentley Berkshire to view and choose from an even greater breadth of luxury options, paint colours and wood species available on Bentayga, and across the wider model range.”
Stepping inside the new showroom, Bentley customers will notice that the luxury materials which adorn the British luxury brand’s cars (notably leather, wood and polished metals) have been integrated into every feature of the design. The carpets are made from the same rich lambswool used in Bentley’s vehicle interior carpets, the furniture is trimmed in Bentley leather, and customer commissioning areas are enveloped by contemporary solid oak panels. Showroom seating, tables, display stands and the concierge coffee and champagne bar are all hand-trimmed with bespoke, highly polished stainless steel.

Aston Martin has opened its latest new dealership in the UK in Pangbourne, Reading, as dealer partner H.R. Owen further extends its longstanding association with the luxury British sports car maker.
The new dealership, officially opened last night by General Manager Claus Andersen, complements H. R. Owen’s existing Cheltenham business. The state-of-the-art facility features luxurious showrooms for new and pre-owned Aston Martin sports cars, a dedicated after sales team and a workshop staffed by world-class Gaydon-trained technicians.

Located in a prime position close to both the M40 and M4 motorways, the showroom opening was attended by invited guests and key members of the Aston Martin senior executive team including Marek Reichman, Chief Creative Officer; Ian Minards, Director of Product Development; Christian Marti, Director of Sales Operations and Marcus Blake, General Manager, UK & South Africa.
Christian Marti said: “I am very happy indeed to welcome H.R. Owen Reading to the strong and growing Aston Martin UK dealer network. With the unveiling just last week of exciting new cars such as the fantastic DBX Concept, Aston Martin Vulcan and our new GT3 racing inspired special edition Vantage at the Geneva Motor Show, Aston Martin is looking forward to a bright and successful second century. H.R. Owen’s decision to extend their association with us very clearly underlines their commitment to our brand.”
Mamad Kashani-Akhavan Chief Executive of H.R. Owen commented: “At H.R. Owen we pride ourselves on representing the finest marques in the world and the chance to extend our partnership with Aston Martin is an opportunity we’re delighted to have been offered. The performance of our existing business at Cheltenham, and the loyal customer base we’ve built over the years, is something we intend to replicate at our Reading site. The team and I look forward to welcoming Aston Martin owners in the area into the H.R. Owen family.”
