SPAIN - The new S-Class convertible returns to the range, with speed, Luxury and looks, its a great car.

Translated into English via Google
Apologies for any errors caused.

  • New variant of the S-Class convertible
  • Available two powerful V8 engines
  • New standards in comfort and dynamic performance
  • On sale in April from 166,000 €
The new Cabriolet is the sixth variant of the current family of S-Class models and the first four-seater convertible vehicle with Mercedes-Benz in the luxury segment since 1971. It offers a distinctive, sensual and unique design, the high technological level Class S and comprehensive protection concept against heat and wind that includes an intelligent air-conditioning control for convertibles.

The Mercedes S 63 AMG 4MATIC Cabrio, a true dream car. Its V8 biturbo 5.5 liter engine delivers 430 kW (585 hp) and maximum torque of 900 Nm, is fitted with the AMG Performance rear-wheel drive 4MATIC, which distributes torque Priority axis and he is able to go from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds.
The new S-Class Cabriolet also offers excellent rigidity. At the same time, it includes innovative solutions such as a separator magnesium aluminum panel between the passenger compartment and the trunk or rear section of the vehicle, made of aluminum-which limit the weight of the basic body at the level of the C-Class Coupé.
In the protection system fitted as standard, integrated behind the rear headrests tipping not only actuators are released using a pyrotechnic system, but first hoop guards themselves also take the correct position driven by a gas generator .
Mercedes-Benz aims to build the most comfortable in the world cabrio. From the point of view of climate comfort contribute to this AIRCAP perfected the automatic draft, integrated into the headrest AIRSCARF heating, the heated seats with armrests and also heating in the rear seats, as well as automatic air conditioning control.
Unlike conventional systems, the air conditioning control is fully automatic, without requiring the driver to select a different mode if the hood is folded or unfolded or that store temperature settings for each of these options.
Taking care of all the details is also evident in the design of the trunk. When opened, the soft top folds and is housed in a space in the trunk, separated from the rest by a curtain of electric drive that automatically deploys and involves the hood.
This means that the driver must stop the vehicle not to manually place the separation of the trunk, extra comfort. If the load of the boot prevents the curtain separating the roof is deployed, its operation is omitted. If the closed roof closed separator can sneak blind by pressing the button located on the inner lining of the trunk lid and increase the volume available for luggage.
