The new diesel engine is refined and powerful, delivering 177PS at 3,750rpm and 400Nm of torque at 2,000rpm to give effortless acceleration. Just 66 examples of this special new arrival are bound for the UK – all fitted with Jeep’s 2.8-litre CRD 200hp turbo diesel engine paired to a five speed automatic gearbox. Legendary Wrangler capability is achieved through the standard Command-Trac part-time, two-speed transfer case with a low-range gear ratio.
Finished in unique Xtreme Purple, Alpine White or Solid Black paint the Night Eagle receives distinctive decals on the bonnet and rear quarter panels, 18-inch mid-gloss black wheels, body-colour grille, mid-gloss black colour accents, headlamp rings and Jeep badge, body colour dual top, black fuel filler door, deep tint sunscreen glass and hard spare tyre cover.
Inside, the new Night Eagle features standard black McKinley leather seats with black sport mesh fabric inserts and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with Diesel Gray accent stitching. The New Musso from Ssangyong has had it's load capacity increased to 3.5 Tonne of towing capability.

  • Towing capability increased to 3.5 tonnes
  • 1 tonne payload and 2.04m2 load bed to carry a Euro pallet
  • 2.2 litre Euro 6 turbo-diesel engine
  • 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission
  • Best value pick-up from just £16,395 ex VAT
SsangYong has announced an increase in the towing capacity of its Musso one-tonne pick-up to 3,500kg following approval by the VCA - the UK Vehicle Certification Agency responsible for Vehicle Type Approval.
Powered by a smooth and refined 2.2 litre Euro 6 turbo-diesel engine, the Musso pick-up delivers huge value.
Designed to appeal to those who need a competitively priced work truck, the practicality of 4-wheel drive, the towing capability to haul up to 3.5 tonnes yet also the appointments of a family car, it’s ideal for towing a horse box, boat or work trailer.

“This is great news for customers looking for a value for money pick-up and who need to tow a heavy trailer,” says Paul Williams, CEO of SsangYong Motor UK.
“With one of the most powerful engines in its class, a refined automatic gearbox and car like ride - thanks to its multilink rear suspension, Musso sales have really taken off since its launch last autumn”, adds Mr Williams. “Tough and robust with a specification, price and warranty no others can match, the facts clearly position the Musso as the top value truck in the pick-up market.”
The Musso features a newly developed Euro 6 turbo-diesel engine to meet the demand for a more powerful performance and lower CO2 emissions at the same time. Maximum power is 178PS and torque 400Nm, with maximum torque delivered from a low of 1,400rpm and maintained through a wide range up to 2,800rpm for smooth, progressive driving from the start.
The Musso is fitted with multi-link rear suspension and progressive rear coil springs - the only pick-up at this price to offer such a system - which gives a relaxed and comfortable car-like ride, while also carrying over a tonne weight on its load deck.
There are two models in the range. The SE includes a new-look front grille and dashboard, as well as silver finish 18” alloy wheels and hard wearing ‘leather look’ TPU seat upholstery. It is priced from just £16,395 ex VAT.
The EX is distinguished by black 18” alloy wheels, roof rails, front LED daytime running lights, leather with heated front seats, power operated driver’s seat, automatic air conditioning, automatic headlights, rain sensing wipers, 7” touchscreen RDS radio with iPod and Bluetooth. The EX with manual transmission is priced at £18,395 ex VAT, and with a six speed Aisin automatic £19,395 ex VAT.
5-year limitless mileage warranty
As with all models in the SsangYong LCV range, the Musso one tonne pick-up is covered by a 5-year limitless mileage warranty.
Designed to be totally transparent and give customers complete peace of mind, ‘limitless’ means just that: not a maximum mileage condition that some brands impose in their small print.
All the major mechanical components are covered including wheel bearings, suspension joints and bushes, steering joints, shock absorbers and even the audio system. Wearable components such as clutch discs and brake friction materials which could have their life reduced by poor driving are covered for one year or 12,000 miles, and the battery and paintwork for three years.

The D-Max from Isuzu gets a much needed overhaul and now becomes a far superior product

The new generation D-Max arrives in the UK this Spring, and customers can now register their interest in the new truck.
D-Max has been extensively overhauled with the biggest changes under the bonnet. A brand new 1.9 litre turbo diesel engine has been fitted, which produces 164 PS and 360Nm of torque.
The engine builds upon D-Max’s workhorse character and retains the 3.5 tonne towing capacity and 1 tonne payload whilst providing a quieter, more refined and economical driving experience.
Another key benefit is that the new engine meets Euro 6 standards without the need for addition of AdBlue.
As per previous D-Max models, Shift-On-The-Fly 4x4 is a key feature of the 17MY truck. The rotary dial allows the driver to select four-wheel drive on the move as well as low range gears.
Finally, the D-Max comes with a five-year / 125,000-mile warranty, and was the first pick-up in the UK to be offered with such a comprehensive peace-of-mind package.
Running costs are kept down by 12,000-mile or 24-month service intervals, five years recovery and European cover, a three-year paint warranty, and a six-year anti-corrosion warranty.

Fiat announces pricing and specifications for the ALL NEW Fiat Tipo, Hatchback and Station Wagon.

  • Full details of the UK FIAT Tipo family is announced at the international press launch of the Tipo five-door hatchback and Tipo Station Wagon
  • With both body styles the new FIAT Tipo offers exceptional roominess and practicality with class leading legroom and boot space
  • Five engines available, two diesel and three petrol, with automatic and dual-clutch transmission available
  • High standard UK specification includes air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity and DAB on all versions
  • Prices start at just £12,995 OTR for the FIAT Tipo hatchback and £13,995 OTR for the Tipo Station Wagon
The all-new FIAT Tipo hatchback and Station Wagon have been launched to the UK media in Turin, affording them their first opportunity to experience its exceptional roominess, high specification, robust quality and outstanding efficiency, not to mention its stylish Italian flair.
The new FIAT Tipo hatchback is deceptively roomy, being capable of accommodating three six-feet-plus adult passengers in the rear - thanks to class-leading legroom and outstanding headroom - within its 4.37m long, 1.79m wide and 1.50m tall dimensions.
Its boot capacity is also best-in-class with a volume of 440 litres, while the Station Wagon version adds an additional 110 litres of boot space which, at 550 litres, is also class leading.

The Staion Wagon can also carry loads of up to 1.8m in length courtesy of an extra 20cm of length (4.57m) and its flip-and-fold 60/40 split rear seats provide a completely flat load floor. The Station Wagon body style has a height of 1.51m thanks to the standard-fit longitudinal roof bars.
Loading the boot of the Station Wagon is aided by a low load sill with reconfigurable components such as an adjustable load floor and removable side storage panels to further increase the width of the luggage compartment.

The roller cover can conveniently be removed with one hand and stored under the floor panel, while two lights, two bag hooks and four load-retaining hooks positioned on the floor provide added convenience.
The FIAT Tipo features numerous cabin compartments with a variety of shapes and capacities totalling no less than 12 litres. Easily reachable by driver and passengers, these compartments are perfect for storing personal objects, smartphones, game consoles, bottles, coins and much more, and there is also a USB port for charging and connecting devices. Maximum comfort is assured by the excellent driving ergonomics and the convenient arrangement of the secondary controls which can be reached easily without the driver having to take their eyes off the road.
In terms of the model range, both the hatchback and Station Wagon will be offered in three trim levels - the names of these trim levels in the UK are to be confirmed.
The entry-level trim level is equipped with air conditioning, remote central locking, front electric windows, body-coloured door mirrors with electric adjustment, six airbags, DAB digital radio, chrome door handles, split rear seats, a front seat centre arm rest, USB and Bluetooth connectivity with steering wheel remote controls. The Station Wagon adds rear electric windows and longitudinal roof bars.
Key options for the entry-level version include front fog lights (£150), dark tinted rear windows (£175), rear electric windows (£240 – standard on Station Wagon), 16-inch alloy wheels (£350), rear parking sensors (£300) and a five-inch Uconnect touchscreen system with Live services, DAB and satellite navigation (£500).
The mid-range trim level adds a five-inch Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear knob, rear power windows, LED daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, rear parking sensors and cruise control. The price for the mid-level trim is £1,000 above that of the equivalent entry-level Tipo, thereby simplifying the range structure and making it easier for customers to choose the best Tipo for their needs and budget.
Also included with the mid-level version are the Uconnect LIVE services, which combines with a smartphone app (available via App Store or Google Play) to offer music streaming with Deezer and TuneIn, news from Reuters and the ability to stay in touch with friends via Facebook Check-in and Twitter, not to mention monitoring vehicle performance, efficiency and maintenance status with eco:Drive and my:Car.
Key options for this trim level include a satellite navigation upgrade (just £250), reversing camera (£300) and Comfort Pack (climate control, driver’s side lumbar adjustment and rear arm rest). Two Safety Packs are available, with Safety Pack B offering a speed limiter and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) for £250 and Safety Pack A adding adaptive cruise control (ACC) in addition to the speed limiter and AEB for £500. Safety Pack A is not available with the entry trim level or 1.4-litre engine.
The top trim level, which is priced just £1,000 above the equivalent mid-level version, builds on the specification of the mid-range Tipo but adds satellite navigation with TomTom LIVE services including HD Traffic, climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic lights and wipers, rear view camera, driver’s side lumbar support and a chrome pack all as standard. Key options include leather upholstery with heated seats (£750) and Safety Packs A (£500) and B (£250).
The engine range comprises five engines in total. There are three petrol engines, a 1.4-litre 16v producing 95hp and 127Nm, a 1.4 T-Jet turbo petrol with 120hp and 206Nm and the 1.6-litre e-TorQ engine producing 110hp and 152Nm (combined exclusively to a six-speed, torque converter automatic transmission) and two turbo diesel engines – a 1.3-litre MultiJet II producing 95hp and 200Nm and a 1.6-litre MultiJet II with an output of 120hp and 320Nm.
The entry-level 1.4-litre 16v FIRE delivers 95hp at 6,000 rpm and 127Nm at 4,500 rpm and is equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. It is capable of accelerating the FIAT Tipo hatchback from a standstill to 62mph (100km/h) in 12.1 seconds (12.3 for the Station Wagon) and on to a top speed of 115mph (both body styles). The official combined cycle fuel economy figure is 49.6mpg for both body styles and their CO2emissions are both 132g/km. Prices for the 1.4 hatchback start at £12,995 and prices for the Station Wagon start at £13,995, just £1,000 more than its hatchback equivalent.
The 1.4-litre T-Jet (turbo petrol) engine develops 120hp at 5,000rpm and 215Nm from just 2,500rpm and again it is combined with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. The 0-62mph dash is dispatched in a lively 9.6 seconds (9.8 seconds for the SW) and top speed for both body styles is 124mph. Official combined cycle fuel economy figures (47.1mpg) and CO2 emissions (139g/km) are also the same for both body styles. Prices for the 1.4 T-Jet start at just £14,995 (mid-level hatchback).
For customers seeking an automatic petrol car, the 1.6-litre E-torQ petrol engine has been combined exclusively with a torque-converter six-speed automatic transmission for smooth shifting, minimal maintenance and greater refinement. Producing 110hp at 5,500rpm and 152Nm of torque at 4,500rpm, it can accelerate the FIAT Tipo from 0-62mph in just 11.5 seconds (11.7 seconds for the SW) and on to a top speed of 119mph (both body styles). An official combined cycle economy figure of 44.8mpg and emissions of 147g/km applies to both body styles.
The 1.3-litre MultiJet II 95hp engine combines strong performance with extremely low running costs, thanks to its variable geometry turbo charger and third-generation Common Rail MultiJet II injection system. It is equipped with a five-speed manual gearbox and Start & Stop as standard, and develops 95hp at 3,750rpm and 200Nm from 1,500 rpm. It is capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in 12.0 seconds (12.3 in the SW) and top speed is 112mph, while official combined cycle fuel economy figure is 76.3mpg and CO2 emission are 99g/km for both hatchback and Station Wagon. Prices for the 1.3-litre MultiJet II 95hp start at just £14,995 (entry-level hatchback).
The top diesel engine in the range is the 1.6 MultiJet II 120hp unit and in the Tipo it is combined with a six-speed manual gearbox or FIAT’s new DDCT six-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. It produces 120hp at 3,750rpm and 320Nm at 1,750rpm and the manual model is capable of accelerating to 62mph from a rest in 9.8 seconds (10.1 in the SW), while the top speed, official combined cycle fuel consumption figure and CO2emissions are the same for both bodies – 124mph, 76.3mpg and 98g/km respectively. Full performance and economy figures for the DDCT will be announced shortly.
The FIAT Tipo was designed in Italy by the FIAT Style Centre, developed in Turkey together with TofaÅŸ R&D, one of FCA's largest research and development centres, and made in the TofaÅŸ plant in Bursa – one of the world's best automotive factories, which has received a World Class Manufacturing Gold Medal.
Since its world première at the Istanbul Motor Show in May 2015 and its presentation to the international press last November, the FIAT Tipo has collected the prestigious Autobest "Best Buy Car 2016" award, chosen by a jury of 26 international journalists.
The all-new FIAT Tipo goes on sale in the UK in September in hatchback and station wagon body styles.
