I will try my best to provide detailed info on various cars and what is like to live with them, I have already produced a few for Jaguar-car-forums, I will do my best to be unbiased, but it will be hard for some cars. I will re-produce press releases and copy from other motoring news.

Six months since launch and the Citroen C3 has hit 10,000 sales already.

New Citroën C3 has just passed an important milestone, having achieved an impressive 10,000 sales in the first six months since its official launch in the UK.
New C3 is officially Citroën’s top-selling model in the UK once again. The new B-segment supermini was released for sale in Britain on Tuesday 3 January 2017.
In its first six months, New Citroën C3 has already sold 10,000 units in the UK, making it Citroën’s top-selling model in the country. In all markets combined, almost 160,000 sales have now been recorded for this new model.
The appeal of this latest Citroën is confirmed by the number of influential awards already received for the car (over 25 globally) and an overall client rating of 4.7 stars (out of 5) on Citroën Advisor.
This exceptional performance confirms the outstanding appeal of New C3, along with impressive UK results such as;
  • Over 60% of sales in the top-end Flair trim (with ConnectedCAM Citroën™ as standard)
  • Over 95% of sales with a two-tone (body/roof) paint finish
  • Over 64% of cars sold with Airbump® panels
The striking supermini was named ‘Best Urbanite’ in BBC TopGear magazine’s ‘Best Cars in the World’ edition even before the car’s official launch. New Citroën C3 was also ‘Commended’ last month in the Auto Express New Car Awards 2017. The car was recognised for its ‘fashionable’ looks and ‘calming’ interior, making it perfect for city life.
With the debut of ConnectedCAM Citroën™ – the world’s first built-in dashcam – New C3 allows the driver and front passenger to safely take photos or videos that can be instantly shared via social media using a free app. It also operates as a conventional dashcam in the event of an on-road incident.
The high-performance powertrain options are efficient and economical with PureTech petrol and BlueHDi diesel engines, and the latest generation EAT6 fully automatic gearbox available as part of the range.
New C3 delivers class-leading passenger comfort and a highly customisable character, offering 36 different exterior colour combinations. With a distinctive design, the large panoramic sunroof floods the spacious cabin with natural light while the comfortable seats, inspired by the Citroën Advanced Comfort® programme, promote well-being and emphasise a feeling of reassurance, comfort and calm.

GENEVA - Renault to launch the new updated Captur Urban Crossover.

  • New Renault Captur will be revealed at the Geneva International Motor Show on 7th March
  • The top-selling urban crossover has gained even more allure with its C-Shape lighting signature, new body colours and panoramic fixed glass roof
  • Find out more about the new interior, redesigned for enhanced quality, and a new version of Captur at the Geneva International Motor Show
The New Renault Captur will be unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show on 7th March. With an upgraded design, inside and out, and the arrival of new equipment, the top-selling B-segment crossover in Europe (215,670 units in 2016) fully intends to retain its leadership.
Even more personalisation possibilities
New Captur keeps the essentials responsible for its success, including its two-tone body colour option.
Personalisation possibilities have been extended with two new body colours: Desert Orange and Ocean Blue, and a new roof colour, Mercury Silver. Motorists can choose from 36 different combinations to create their very own Captur.
New Captur steps up the differentiation game with seven interior personalisation packs including a variety of colours – Ivory, Blue, Caramel, Red, Satin Chrome and Smoked Chrome – and five exterior packs: Ivory, Blue, Cappuccino, Red, and Orange (for the hub caps and side sill protector).
Brand-identity lighting signature
As with the Brand’s latest models, New Captur is equipped with full LED “Pure Vision” headlights (depending on version). This technology sharpens the car’s looks and improves safety while providing greater efficiency. LED daytime running lights are built into the lower bumper in a C shape, forming the brand’s light signature. The rear lights feature the same signature, visible day and night.
More emphatic crossover design
New Captur has been redesigned to strengthen kinship with its big brother, Kadjar. The grille has been upgraded to more closely resemble that of Renault’s other crossovers, notably with a chrome strip. Front and rear, the bumper includes new skid plates underscoring New Captur’s adventurous personality.
Three types of wheel are available across the range: one 16-inch rim (Adventure) and two 17-inch wheels (Emotion and Explore).
Fixed glass roof
From the third trim level up, Captur can be fitted with a fixed glass roof. Available only in two-tone configuration, the new feature improves ambient light in the cabin.
Join Renault on its stand at the Geneva Motor Show at 12:15pm (CET) on 7th March to find out about all the new features on New Captur.

The hugely popular Jeep Renegade has been named 4x4 Magazine’s ‘4x4 of the Year 2017’.

The hugely popular Jeep Renegade has been named 4x4 Magazine’s ‘4x4 of the Year 2017’, retaining the crown for the second year in a row.
Rapidly growing in popularity on the UK’s roads, and hugely capable off them, the Jeep Renegade has had an excellent year of sales.
To date, more than 16,500 two- and four-wheel-drive Renegades have been sold in this country while, in the UK and around the world, the successful B-segment SUV has continued to scoop numerous awards.

In this latest recognition, the off-road driving publication’s panel of expert judges was unable to find a contender capable of taking away the Jeep Renegade’s ‘4x4 of the Year’ crown. Excellent on-road, the range-topping Trailhawk version also outshone rivals on 4x4 Magazine’s tough off-road evaluation course.
“Since winning last year, we are now seeing many more Renegades on the roads here in the UK and in Europe,” says Nigel Fryatt, Editor, 4x4 Magazine. “Admittedly, not all of them are Trailhawk versions, and some are front-wheel drive, yet that merely underlines the importance of this small SUV.
“The Renegade range is comprehensive and every owner is getting a well built, well equipped and surprisingly spacious small SUV. Those that choose four-wheel drive options get a lot more, with the Trailhawk version the absolute master.”
In the same awards, the Renegade won the ‘Mid-range SUV’ category, the legendary Jeep Wrangler took the ‘Hardcore’ class for the fifth consecutive year, and the Jeep Cherokee won the ‘Top-Range SUV’ group.
“This has been another very good year for Jeep and for Renegade, rounded off nicely with the top award from a leading 4x4 magazine,” says Damien Dally, head of brand, Jeep UK.
“Growing sales, continual good reports from the media and thousands of happy customers tell us that Jeep has a winning product in Renegade. And the verdict of expert panellists, such as those at 4x4 Magazine, confirms that view. I am delighted that Renegade has been crowned ‘4x4 of the Year’ for the second year running."
The Jeep Renegade range starts at £18,195 OTR for the 1.6E-TorQ 110hp Sport, rising to £29,495 for the 2.0 MultiJet II Trailhawk.

Nissan launches a special edition of the NOTE, the Black Edition gives it an aggressive more muscular look.

  • New limited edition of the popular compact hatchback
  • Desirable styling enhancements create a sophisticated new look
  • Based on Acenta mid-grade for high level of standard equipment
  • On sale now priced from £14,415 OTR
Striking contemporary design, a high standard specification and a touch of premium quality seamlessly blend together on a new special version of the Nissan Note – the Black Edition.
The most eye-catching enhancement is to the exterior of the popular compact (B-segment) hatchback. The addition of a Dynamic Styling Pack means sporty body-coloured bumpers front and rear, side skirts and black bezel headlights. A performance-oriented black spoiler at the top of the hatchback further enhances the look.

Other upgrades include 16-inch alloy wheels, smart new door handles and mirror covers, plus gloss inserts around the daytime running lights. There is a new high quality finish to the B and C-pillars, which frame the rear passenger door windows. As the car’s name implies, all these enhancements are finished in premium black.
The interior of the Note Black Edition has also been given a significant makeover. The centre console is finished in gloss black, with a black gear shift knob close by. Above, the black headliner adds a stand-out and sophisticated look. Electric rear windows are included and the NissanConnect touch-screen infotainment system is also available as an option.
The Nissan Note Black Edition comes in two striking body colours – a pearlescent Storm White or a metallic Pearl Black – and is based on the popular Acenta mid-grade trim level. That means air conditioning, a multi-function leather steering wheel and Bluetooth connectivity with audio streaming included on every car.
They are in addition to the Note’s most appealing features – its spacious interior and modern, efficient engines. Black Edition models are available with a choice of two powerplants from the Note range – the 1.5-litre dCi 90 manual and 1.2-litre 80 manual.
