Purpose

I will try my best to provide detailed info on various cars and what is like to live with them, I have already produced a few for Jaguar-car-forums, I will do my best to be unbiased, but it will be hard for some cars. I will re-produce press releases and copy from other motoring news.

Suzuki launches latest Swift Special Edition, the SZ-L

  • On sale 1st March and available on the VAT free promotion until 31st March 2014 priced at £10,899 for the three door model and £11,316 for the five door model.
  • Special Edition SZ-L model based on mid-grade SZ3.
  • 2-tone metallic paintwork as standard for the first time on Swift models.

The Special Edition Suzuki Swift SZ-L will go on sale 1st March with a limited production run of 500 units.

The SZ-L is based on the 1.2-litre SZ3, but with additional equipment and features designed to enhance the sporty and fun to drive character of Swift.

All Swift SZ3 models already come well equipped with seven airbags, ESP, air conditioning, USB port and Bluetooth as standard. SZ-L adds LED daytime running lights and cruise control from the recently updated Swift SZ4, along with extra equipment only available on SZ-L.

Exclusive equipment includes 2-tone metallic paintwork as standard; in either Boost Blue or Cosmic Black body colours with contrasting Cool White roof, rear spoiler and door mirrors. Inside, silver stitching has been added to the steering wheel, gear gaiter and seats which also have a unique fabric design.

Crucially, the Swift SZ-L offers value for money in terms of running costs and purchase price; the 1.2-litre Dual VVT 94PS engine is one of the most powerful in its class, but offers low emissions of just 116g/km CO2 costing £30 in annual VED after the first year and returns a frugal 56.5mpg on the combined cycle.

SZ-L is in insurance group 11E, the same low group as the rest of the Swift range, making it the ideal purchase for younger Swift fans who want to own a more striking, design led car for an affordable cost.

Additionally, Suzuki Financial Services has included it in their popular PCP Driveplan campaign, SZ-L requires a deposit of just £999 followed by 42 monthly payments of £179 and an optional final balloon payment to keep the car.

Swift SZ-L is available on the recently extended VAT free promotion until the 31st March at £10,899 for three door models and £11,316 for five door models.
