Rolls-Royce Motor Cars today unveiled its first ever ‘Rolls-Royce Boutique’, a highly progressive new concept in luxury, in Dubai, UAE.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars today unveiled its first ever ‘Rolls-Royce Boutique’, a highly progressive new concept in luxury, in Dubai, UAE. Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, presided at the official inauguration ceremony, alongside officials from AGMC, the sole and authorised representative for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates of the UAE.
The new space speaks of Rolls-Royce’s commitment to effortlessly integrating itself into the lifestyles of its patrons. The location, at the centre of Dubai’s City Walk, a globally recognised luxury and hospitality hot-spot, therefore boldly counters traditional automotive thinking in placing the house within a centre of fine fashion, art and cuisine that Rolls-Royce customers frequent.

The permanent Boutique has been created in the same spirit as the marque’s highly successful Summer Studio in Porto Cervo, Sardinia which has rapidly established itself as a celebrated centre of ‘true luxury’ in one of the world’s most exclusive enclaves. The Boutique therefore blends spaces that bring to life the spirit of the marque’s Centre of Excellence in Goodwood, England with a vibrant, social atmosphere. The Boutique is set to become a place to see and be seen for the region’s most discerning and eminent patrons of luxury.
This is achieved through a curated series of experiential areas including: an Inspiration Studio, Bespoke Atelier, Interactive Spirit of Ecstasy, Pinnacle Café, Affinity Partner Display, Virtual Reality Configurators and staging for Bespoke one-of-one motor cars or newly-launched collections.
The product of a multi-million dollar investment from AGMC, the generously appointed facility spans 7,300 sq.ft. and features top-to-bottom vectorized pixel-animation screens on the external windows, visible to passers-by from the road and sidewalk. Befitting a house that always seeks to deliver effortlessness to its patrons, it is the only Boutique in City Walk that will have year-round valet parking for its guests.
The Rolls-Royce Boutique is AGMC’s second Rolls-Royce showroom facility in Dubai, complementing their existing 10,000 sq. ft. flagship showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road which features the world’s most advanced Rolls-Royce Aftersales Centre.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, said, “Dubai is an important part of our brand’s success story, and it has been among the top five markets in the world for Rolls-Royce for three consecutive years, placing it alongside or above other markets with much bigger populations. Our success in Dubai and the rest of the world is borne of an intimate understanding of the lifestyle requirements of the world’s most discerning patrons of luxury. True luxury houses like Rolls-Royce must therefore constantly strive to innovate and inspire.”
He added. “AGMC’s investment is testament to their commitment to delivering truly progressive experiences to Dubai’s most eminent men and women. This extraordinary space will become a social hot-spot that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Rolls-Royce’s Centre of Excellence in Goodwood, England.”
Stathis I. Stathis, Managing Director of AGMC, said, “It’s no secret that Dubai is a city of accomplishments and record-breaking initiatives. From the marvel that is the Burj Khalifa through to winning the bid for Expo 2020, Dubai has proven time and time again it is a place where the impossible becomes possible. Where vision, coupled with hard work and resolve, can lead to achievements that are rightly celebrated and respected around the globe. We are proud to now add the first ever Rolls-Royce Boutique to those achievements.”
The Rolls-Royce Boutique features four distinct areas:
The Inspiration Studio will be the staging point for one-of-a-kind examples of Rolls-Royce Bespoke motor cars. This will serve to inspire patrons by showcasing what is possible when working with the marque’s full Bespoke palette. The space also features an Interactive Spirit of Ecstasy Wall, which uses motion-capture technology to allow visitors to briefly transform themselves into the iconic statuette that embellishes every Rolls-Royce motor car, and an interactive configurator to help customers conceive initial ideas for their own Bespoke vision.
The Bespoke Atelier takes cues from the worlds of fine art, design and high fashion, and is filled with thought-provoking textures, themes and colours, giving customers the opportunity to explore the possibilities that cutting-edge, Bespoke design allows. The displays of paints, marquetry, exotic woods, leathers, piping, tread plates and accessories such as picnic hampers and Gold-plated ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’s have been selected to stimulate discussion and nurture creativity, helping to inspire customers when commissioning their own unique Rolls-Royce motor car. The centerpiece is a stunning piece of original art from Syrian artist Khaled Al Saaei, depicting the Spirit of Ecstasy in Arabic Calligraphy.
The Pinnacle Café is a space for Rolls-Royce customers to relax, meet with friends, or even host business meetings in an exclusive and luxurious atmosphere. Rolls-Royce will invite other luxury brands to display their rarest and most unique items in the Affinity Area, with the displays regularly changing, thus providing further inspiration to visitors and also creating a luxury shopping boutique feel for customers.
The Rolls-Royce Boutique is open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm seven days a week.

Jag's new F-Pace has been tested to within an inch of its life from -40° to +50° and higher, and still it works.

  • Jaguar F-PACE exhaustively tested in the most demanding locations
  • Durability proven at extremes of hot and cold: -40°C to +50°C
  • Dynamics and performance optimised for all conditions
  • Gravelled mountain passes included in a Jaguar test programme for the first time
From the searing heat and dust of Dubai to the ice and snow of Northern Sweden, the new F-PACE has been tested to the limit in some of the most inhospitable environments on earth.
Jaguar’s performance crossover offers an unrivalled blend of performance, design and practicality.
To ensure that every system functions perfectly even under the most extreme conditions, the new
F-PACE has been subjected to one of the most demanding test programmes the company has ever devised.

“We developed the F-PACE to offer the ride, handling and refinement demanded from a Jaguar, together with exceptional levels of ability and composure on all surfaces and in all weathers.
“Just as we paid obsessive attention to detail over the engineering of every single component, we’ve exhaustively tested the F-PACE in the most challenging conditions to ensure that it will exceed the expectations of our customers around the world.”
Andrew Whyman, Vehicle Programme Director, Jaguar F-PACE

At Jaguar Land Rover’s test facility in Arjeplog, Northern Sweden, average winter temperatures rarely exceed -15°C and often plummet to -40°C. The 60km of purpose-built handling tracks, mountain climbs, inclines, split-friction straights and off-road areas are ideal for optimising the calibration of the all-wheel drive system, Dynamic Stability Control and technologies such as Jaguar’s revolutionary All-Surface Progress Control.
The work done here makes sure that, whether on asphalt, snow or ice, the F-PACE delivers the connected steering feel and agility fundamental to Jaguar dynamics DNA.
In Dubai, ambient temperatures can exceed 50°C in the shade. When vehicles are left out in direct sunlight, cabin temperatures can soar to 70°C – exactly what’s needed to ensure that everything from climate control systems to infotainment touchscreens function perfectly in extremes of heat and humidity.
And while the test engineers can relax in air-conditioned comfort as they drive in city traffic, this part of the test cycle is designed to place the cooling systems under very high load through a combination of high ambient temperatures and low airflow.
The F-PACE has also been driven over gravelled mountain passes. This is the first time that a Jaguar test programme has included this uniquely challenging environment, and it is this attention to detail that will help to make Jaguar’s first performance crossover the benchmark in its segment.

  • Bill Ford helps inaugurate Ford’s latest business unit, Middle East and Africa, an exciting, vibrant region that represents the final frontier for growth in the auto industry
  • Ford pledged to launch 25 vehicles in region by 2016, including the all-new Mustang debuting next year
  • Industry sales in Middle East & Africa are expected to grow 40 per cent to 5.5 million vehicles by 2020
Ford Motor Company underscored its growing ambitions in the Middle East and Africa, with the dramatic introduction of the all-new Mustang on Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.

Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford capped the live-action event by delivering the iconic pony badge to the 2015 yellow Mustang on the 112th floor of the skyscraper.

The event was viewed live around the world on YouTube as well as by approximately 10,000 fans gathered in the Dubai Downtown area, overlooking the Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa. (To see a replay, click on this link.)

“Today we planted the Ford flag in the Middle East & Africa, an exciting, vibrant region that represents the final frontier for growth in the auto industry,” Bill Ford said. “We also sent a message to the world that Mustang is going global after 50 years as America’s greatest motoring icon.”

Ford established its new Middle East & Africa business unit this year, which covers the company’s automotive business in 67 Ford markets in North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Africa and Middle East regions. Industry sales in Middle East & Africa are expected to grow 40 percent to 5.5 million vehicles by 2020. To meet new customer demand, Ford pledged to launch 25 vehicles in region by 2016, including the all-new Mustang debuting next year.

Viewers of the light-hearted action spectacle witnessed a dramatic journey that started with a hero atop a cliff in Arizona taking an urgent call. The unknown protagonist raced via horseback, airliner, car, helicopter and jet ski to Dubai to deliver the iconic pony badge. Only in the final scene on the 112th floor of the Burj Khalifa – 399 metres (1,300 feet) above the ground – was the protagonist revealed with a wink and a nod as Bill Ford, the great-grandson of Henry Ford.

“A century ago Henry Ford had a vision to open the highways to all mankind,” said Jim Benintende, president, Ford Middle East and Africa. “Placing our regional headquarters in Dubai lets us tap the innovation and imagination that’s flourishing here, helping us to bring our founder’s vision to this part of the world.”

In addition to the new Mustang, Ford also previously announced a plan to introduce new vehicles such as the Ford Focus, Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKC in the Middle East and Africa. The company also announced the accelerated rollout of many new technologies to the region, including EcoBoost engines, SYNC in-car connectivity, inflatable rear seat belts, MyKey and other driver assist technologies.

For the first time in its 50-year history the Ford Mustang will be available in a factory-built right-hand-drive configuration in the UK with deliveries from autumn next year.

Rolls Royce shows its class in Dubai

  • Bespoke Celestial Phantom unveiled
  • 446 diamonds extend car’s Celestial theme
  • Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai presents Phantom Coupé Chicane
  • Rolls-Royce Wraith makes Middle Eastern public debut

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ Bespoke offering took centre stage at the Dubai International Motor Show with the unveiling of the Celestial Phantom, Alpine Trial Centenary Collection and Chicane Phantom Coupé.

The Celestial Phantom

This extraordinary motor car that first debuted at the Frankfurt IAA to great acclaim and is presented with one important addition; 446 diamonds meticulously hand-set into the door-cappings, centre console lid and rear-privacy divider.

“The Middle East is the largest market for Bespoke in the world and in celebration of this we sought to create something truly special for the Dubai International Motor Show. Every Rolls‑Royce is crafted with only the finest materials, extending the Celestial Phantom’s starry night theme with one of the rarest and most precious commodities in the world.” said Torsten Müller‑Ötvös, CEO, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

This one-of-a-kind masterpiece celebrates a seminal moment in Rolls-Royce history - the handover of the first Phantom to its owner at midnight on 1 January 2003.

The exterior colour scheme evokes the night sky – integrating fine glass particles into the paint to achieve an alluring sense of depth and light. The theme continues when one opens the coach doors of this very special Phantom Extended Wheelbase.

Upon entering the car, occupants are welcomed with a new take on Starlight Headliner, a Bespoke feature that has captivated Rolls-Royce’s discerning customers more than any. The constellations, exactly as they were at midnight on that historic evening, are represented by over a thousand fibre optic lights hand-woven into the Celestial Phantom’s headlining.

The finest leathers, presented in a ‘Dusk’ hue, allude to the inky quality of a cloudless night sky. Bespoke glassware and an exquisitely appointed picnic set express the manner in which a customer’s lifestyle and passions can be seamlessly integrated into their personal, highly Bespoke Rolls-Royce.

Hallmark attention-to-detail is evident throughout. The night-sky constellation arrangement was verified by the South Downs Planetarium to ensure authenticity, whilst hand-stitching to the headliner subtly maps out the constellations.

The exterior is finished with engraving to wheel centres while an uplit Spirit of Ecstasy figurine elegantly alludes to the car’s ethereal theme.

Dining under the stars takes on a new dimension with a themed re-imaging of the famed Rolls‑Royce Picnic Set. The glassware features a beautifully hand-engraved Celestial motif whilst celebrated porcelain maker Nymphenburg was commissioned for the set’s plates, providing an exquisitely presented image of the constellations.

Phantom Coupé Chicane

The Bespoke Phantom Coupé Chicane car also made its world debut. AGMC, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ authorised dealer for Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates commissioned the car during a recent visit to the Home of Rolls-Royce and the adjacent Goodwood Motor Circuit.

“I wanted to create a motor car that captures the unique atmosphere and history of the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The Home of Rolls-Royce’s connection to such an important centre of British motoring heritage is something that fascinates my customers,” said Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai Brand Manager, Mohammed El-Arishy. “The experience of working with Rolls‑Royce’s world-class designers to create the beautifully executed Chicane Phantom Coupé was exhilarating. The creativity, vision, skill and attention-to-detail employed in the crafting of these one-off motor cars is unsurpassed in the super-luxury world.”

The result, the one-of-a-kind Chicane Phantom Coupé, incorporates design cues and materials that evoke Goodwood’s rich motor sport history.

A traditional interior wood-finish makes way for carbon fibre, alluding to the materials used in modern racing machines. This highly contemporary theme extends to the exterior of the car, with the bonnet and windscreen surround finished in matte black, perfectly complementing the Gunmetal exterior paint.

Coloured wheels matching the main exterior paint finish are also specified, the first time such a feature has adorned a contemporary Rolls-Royce motor car.

Hand-crafted details throughout allude to the car’s historic motor racing theme with chequered flag otif stitching to the seats echoed on the exterior with a matching Bespoke coachline. The elegant homage is completed with a metal plaque expressing the car’s name and Goodwood’s famous track layout located discreetly in the glove compartment.

Alpine Trial Centenary Collection

The first ever Bespoke Collection to take inspiration from a heritage Rolls-Royce also debuted at the Show.

A century ago, four Rolls-Royce Silver Ghosts embarked on the Austrian Alpine Trials, the most arduous test of automotive endurance of the time. The cars performed without fault, emphatically establishing the marque’s reputation as purveyor of ‘the best car in the world’.

This limited edition Rolls-Royce Ghost features exquisitely crafted design cues that pay tribute to the 1913 Alpine Trials cars.

The exterior paint hue, for example takes close inspiration from Radley’s original Silver Ghost, a car that participated in this year’s re-enactment in Austria of the 1913 Alpine Trial, as part of the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Works Team.

The Radley car’s distinct black grille and wheels are also replicated across the collection – the first time a painted grille has adorned a contemporary Rolls-Royce motor car.

The cabin plays host to Bespoke details that elegantly tell the story of the Alpine Trial. The clock displays the stages of the rally and timings, whilst inlays to rear picnic tables and the front fascia express the topography and distances of the Alpine route. Each element is meticulously hand-crafted and researched to ensure accuracy, epitomising hallmark Rolls-Royce attention-to-detail.

A hand-painted coachline referencing the four Rolls-Royce motor cars that took part in the rally and headlining, colour-matched to the hood of Radley’s car, completes a beautiful homage.

Rolls-Royce Wraith

Wraith, the most powerful, dynamic Rolls-Royce in history also made its Middle Eastern debut. Following a series of exclusive closed-room events and test-drive opportunities, this highly contemporary expression of Rolls-Royce luxury has already captured the imagination of a new generation of discerning Middle Eastern customers.

With a striking fastback design, performance delivers on the promise of its bold exterior styling. 624 bhp is derived from a twin-turbo V12, delivering a 0-60 time of 4.4 seconds. However, Wraith is every inch a refined and luxurious Rolls-Royce, with every possible comfort that one would expect from the pinnacle marque.

Hallmark Rolls-Royce effortlessness is augmented with a suite of specially developed technologies. Satellite Aided Transmission, for example, processes GPS data to predict the driver’s next move, automatically selecting the correct gear for the road ahead. A one-touch call button akin to an on-board valet, allows navigation, telephone and multimedia to be controlled via voice commands.

The finest materials constitute an interior that cossets occupants. Canadel Panelling, a tactile open grain wood named after Henry Royce’s winter home at the Cote d`Azur, sweeps around the lower hull of Wraith’s interior, whilst a Starlight Headliner completes the glamour, bathing the cabin in a warm glow via thousands of tiny fibre-optic lamps hand-woven into the roof-lining.

The ultimate Rolls Royce, the one off Chicane Phantom Coupe

With the talents of the world’s finest automotive designers and craftspeople at a customer’s disposal, inspiration for a Bespoke Rolls-Royce can strike anywhere.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai Brand Manager, Mohammed EL-Arishy’s imagination was piqued whilst dining at the Goodwood Hotel, adjacent to the Home of Rolls-Royce. Photographs of motor racing greats negotiating the historic Goodwood motor circuit drew his eye. A consultation with Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke design team followed:

“I wanted to create a motor car that captures the unique atmosphere and history of the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The Home of Rolls-Royce’s connection to such an important centre of British motoring heritage is something that fascinates my customers,” said Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai Brand Manager, Mohammed EL-Arishy. “The experience of working with Rolls-Royce’s world-class designers to create the beautifully executed Chicane Phantom Coupé was exhilarating. The creativity, vision, skill and attention-to-detail employed in the crafting of these one-off motor cars is unsurpassed in the super-luxury world.”

The result, the one-of-a-kind Chicane Phantom Coupé incorporates design cues and materials that evoke Goodwood’s rich motor sport history.

A traditional interior wood-finish makes way for carbon fibre, alluding to the materials used in modern racing machines. This highly contemporary theme extends to the exterior of the car, with the bonnet and windscreen surround finished in a matte black, perfectly complementing the Gunmetal exterior paint.

Coloured wheels matching the main exterior paint finish are also specified, the first time such a feature has adorned a contemporary Rolls-Royce motor car.

Hand-crafted details throughout allude to the car’s historic motor racing theme with chequered flag motif stitching to the seats echoed on the exterior with a matching Bespoke coachline. The elegant homage is completed with a metal plaque expressing the car’s name and Goodwood’s famous track layout located discreetly in the glove compartment.

This is not the first time an unexpected spark of inspiration has taken a Rolls-Royce customer; commissions have included an exterior paint colour perfectly matched to a favourite eye shadow and a wood-veneer sourced from a tree on a customer’s estate.

“Customers often task us with designing cars themed around a particularly passion or interest. The customer leads the creative process, working in collaboration with us to create a highly personal, one-off masterpiece. As Bespoke designers we take great satisfaction in turning these dreams into reality,” said Gavin Hartley, Bespoke Design Manager.
