Purpose

I will try my best to provide detailed info on various cars and what is like to live with them, I have already produced a few for Jaguar-car-forums, I will do my best to be unbiased, but it will be hard for some cars. I will re-produce press releases and copy from other motoring news.

Limited edition Nissan Qashqai launched to celebrate the launch year of 2007

  • Exclusive initial production run special edition reserved for existing Nissan customers
  • Only 2,007 will be built for Europe, marking the launch year of the original pioneering crossover
  • High standard specification showcases Nissan innovation and excitement
  • Premium features include the highly advanced Nissan Safety Shield, Around View Monitor and NissanConnect

Nissan is marking the arrival the next generation crossover with a special new model - the Qashqai Premier Limited Edition. In a unique gesture designed to reward the 2 million buyers of the original crossover pioneer, the new version will be reserved exclusively for existing Nissan customers until 31 December 2013.

Just 2,007 of them are available for Nissan owners wanting the ultimate in new Qashqai exclusivity in Europe, with only 290 available in the UK. Each car will bear its own numbered badge, with each owner guaranteed a place in Nissan history as one of the very first owners of the next generation Qashqai.

The all-new Qashqai was revealed only two weeks ago, where its bold design and advanced premium technology were discovered for the first time.

The Nissan Qashqai Premier Limited Edition will have a total production run of only 2,007, a figure that references the year the original Qashqai was launched, marking the arrival of the first mass market crossover.

High specification and unique features

Based on the range-topping Tekna model, the Premier Limited Edition showcases Nissan's passion for accessible technology and bold design.

Equipment unique to the Premier Limited Edition includes special part leather and Alcantara trim, a dark roof liner, custom dark carpets, chrome side door sills, front lip and tailgate lower finisher and special Premier-branded kick plates. The stone coloured seats surrounded by the black carpet and black headliner provide a striking contrast, while each model features a personalised numbered badge.

The Premier Limited Edition also comes with the Tekna's extensive array of design and technology features as standard. The exterior design is enhanced by 19-inch alloy wheels and sector-first Bi-LED headlamps and roof rails. The cabin is equipped with heated front seats, new NissanConnect entertainment and navigation system, and a panoramic glass roof.

Nissan's advanced Safety Shield is also fitted as standard, featuring an extensive array of advanced technology features including: Front Collision Avoidance, Driver Attention Support, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Moving Object Detection and High Beam Assist.

The Premier Limited Edition Qashqai is available in Pearl Black and is powered by a 1.6 dCi engine featuring Nissan's advanced ALL-MODE 4x4-i system as standard.

Next generation Qashqai - the second generation crossover is here

The release of the Qashqai Premier Limited Edition model celebrates the introduction of Nissan's innovative second-generation crossover.

Redesigned from the ground up, the new Qashqai has been created to meet the demands and expectations of next-generation crossover buyers. Every element of the new car - from the new cabin that offers more space, higher quality materials and greater practicality to premium technologies that take occupant protection to a new level - has been re-thought, re-engineered and re-imagined.

The new Qashqai range is available to pre-order now with prices starting from £17,595. Qashqai Premier Limited Edition is available uniquely to Nissan customers until the end of December 2013.
