Purpose

I will try my best to provide detailed info on various cars and what is like to live with them, I have already produced a few for Jaguar-car-forums, I will do my best to be unbiased, but it will be hard for some cars. I will re-produce press releases and copy from other motoring news.

Mitsubishi showcases the bold new look of its ever popular Shogun range of off-roaders.

The Mitsubishi Shogun range has a bold new front end styling, as model year 2015 goes on sale, distinguished by a deeper more integrated grille and smart LED daytime running lights.
The styling changes represent a progressive evolution of Mitsubishi’s tough and authentic off-roader. It retains its go-anywhere bold and muscular presence, characterised by its short front overhang, upright windscreen, strong high flanks, flared wheel-arches and rear-mounted spare wheel – all key Shogun styling cues that underline off-road ability.

The Shogun range now features the following specification:

Servicing, Insurance and Maintenance:
The Mitsubishi Shogun has a 3-year / unlimited mileage warranty together with a pan-European roadside assistance package. Service intervals for all Shogun variants are 12,500 miles /12 months (whichever comes first) and Mitsubishi’s extremely competitive service plan (MSP), covering the first three scheduled services can be purchased for just £975 (Inc VAT).
Conclusion:
In 1982 Mitsubishi Motors Corporation launched a brand new breed of vehicle: a 4x4 which was tough enough to go where others feared to tread yet enjoyed the sort of sophisticated specification more normally associated with top end saloons. More than thirty years later the Shogun is an icon.
Away from the much commented luxury soft-roaders, heavy-duty workhorses such as the Shogun have carved out a very unique niche in the market where ability and dependability matter first and foremost.
Since the price decrease in July 2013 Shogun sales have gone from strength to strength. With a new vehicle design and improved specification across the range, Shogun now offers customer’s even better value for money verses its key competitors.
