U.S. Porsche dealers sell 5,008 vehicles in August

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor in the United States of Porsche 918 Spyder, 911, Boxster and Cayman sports cars, Macan and Cayenne SUVs, and the Panamera four-door sports sedan line-up, today announced August 2015 sales of 5,008 vehicles, up 10.3 percent over August 2014.  

This is the second time in PCNA history that sales have exceeded 5,000 units in one month.

The Cayman model line, supported by deliveries of the GT4, had a successful month with sales up 77.5 percent compared with August 2014. 

The Macan and Panamera model lines also achieved increases compared to the same month last year, up 38.3 and 8.6 percent respectively. Year-to-date, PCNA has delivered 34,876 Porsche vehicles, yielding a sales increase of 9.8 percent year-over-year.

Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales in the United States were 1,387 for August 2015, up 24.7 percent compared to August 2014.
