The New Citroën C4 Cactus has been awarded the title of Small SUV of the Year 2015, by the Association of Professional Motoring Press (APMP), at their first official awards ceremony, which took place in Wicklow, Ireland earlier this week.
The APMP Awards are judged by motoring journalists from over 45 Irish publications with members from national newspapers, radio, TV and online. Shane O’Donoghue, APMP member said; “The C4 Cactus stands apart with incredible comfort, efficiency, space and a highly unique appearance inside and out. Bravo!” Paul Keown called the C4 Cactus a “real head turner”. Dave Humphreys commented that it “is one of the freshest designs to ever come to the small SUV segment.”
Commenting at the awards ceremony, Michael Sheridan, APMP Chairperson, remarked; “The Cactus is a beautiful piece of design at a price that's right.”
Speaking on the night of the awards, Frédéric Soulier, Managing Director of Citroën Motors Ireland, said; “We are very proud that just two weeks following the Irish launch, the C4 Cactus has picked up its first official Irish award.
"The New C4 Cactus is a very exciting and innovative addition to our award-winning range and this accolade from the members of the APMP is a tribute to the bold choices made by Citroën’s design team.”
