The 2016 Mazda3 was named the Best Car for Teens in the $25K to $30K category, beating the Honda Civic in this specific price bracket. Mazda3 was the ultimate standout when looking at overall quality and advanced safety features that would be best for teens on the road these days.

Mazda3 comes available with advanced safety technologies suite called i-ACTIVSENSE. i-ACTIVSENSE[i] includes Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC), Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) for low-speed braking, Smart Brake Support for highway-speed braking, Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, among other features.

Mazda3 was named a 2016 Top Safety Pick+ from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS)—the highest designation awarded by the organization—received a rating of “Good” in five body-structure categories and an advanced rating in its accident-avoidance technologies.
Mazda3 continues to reassure the minds of parents that it’s an excellent choice for the entire family as it was also recently selected as the Best Hatchback in Parents Magazine and Edmunds.com’s list of 10 Best Family Cars of 2016.
Mazda North American Operations is proud of its award-winning vehicle lineup. The 2016 model year vehicles have already earned over 100 industry accolades with a recent impressive win from the 2016 MX-5 with two awards for Word Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year.
