My thoughts on all things motoring, press releases, reviews & techie stuff, from around the world.
Please note that the pictures of vehicles within this blog are used as examples of the specific press releases, on occasions, due to the lack of available official pictures, examples are re-produced.
ANY AND ALL PROFANITIES WILL BE REMOVED AND THE PERSON/S RESPONSIBLE WILL BE BANNED, NO EXCEPTIONS.
I will try my best to provide detailed info on various cars and what is like to live with them, I have already produced a few for Jaguar-car-forums, I will do my best to be unbiased, but it will be hard for some cars. I will re-produce press releases and copy from other motoring news.

A new Top Of The Range Caddy, The Black Edition, is limited to just 500 Units, but looks stunning in the black colour.
Just 500 Caddy Black Edition models available in the UK
Striking design package includes Deep Black pearl effect paint and 17-inch alloys
Continues Caddy Black Edition tradition of striking looks and high specification
Priced from £19,370 (OTR excl VAT) and available to order now
Volkswagen Caddy buyers are being invited to tap into their dark side with the launch of a new Caddy Black Edition.
The range-topping limited edition model is set to join the range at the end of November and offers a stylish design package and a raft of optional extras that deliver the highest level of comfort, convenience and practicality.
Just 500 examples of the Caddy Black Edition are destined for the UK, so buyers looking for the ultimate specification Caddy will need to act quickly.
Although this is the first Black Edition to join the fourth-generation Caddy range, previous models have proved extremely popular with buyers. Like its predecessors, the new Caddy Black Edition showcases Volkswagen’s range of equipment at an unbeatable price.
Exterior highlights include Deep Black pearl effect paint, black roof rails, body-coloured bumpers, door mirrors and handles, front fog lights with cornering lights, lowered suspension (by 27 mm) and sporty 17-inch Canyon two-tone Black and Silver alloy wheels.
Inside, the Caddy Black Edition features full carpeting, leather multi-function steering wheel, gearknob and gaiter, climatic air conditioning and heated windscreen. The extensive standard equipment list also includes cruise control, DAB+ radio and Driver Alert System.
Despite its generous specification list, which would normally add around £2,000 to the price of the standard Highline model, the new Caddy Black Edition commands a modest £800 premium over the Highline. That represents a customer value figure of £1,200, making the Caddy Black Edition exceptional value for money.
The Caddy Black Edition is equipped with a 2.0-litre TDI 102 PS EU6 engine and a five-speed manual transmission. It delivers a fine balance of performance and efficiency and is equipped, as all Caddy models are, with Volkswagen’s suite of BlueMotion technologies. These include Start/Stop, Hill Hold Assist, regenerative braking and low rolling resistance tyres. As a result, the Caddy Black Edition returns 60.1 mpg on the combined cycle and has CO2 emissions of 123 g/km.
And like all models in the Caddy range, the Black Edition delivers exceptional practicality for professional users. With a load cube capacity of 3.2 m3, maximum payload of 628 kg* and numerous storage areas in the cab area, the Black Edition is a trusty workhorse.
The new Caddy Black Edition is priced at £19,370 (OTR excl VAT) and is available to order now. For more details, please contact your local Volkswagen Van Centre or go to www.volkswagen-vans.co.uk.
